Re: PCX 150 in the UK?

I know Honda UK don't bring it in but can one be sourced from France or Belgium? Anyone done it or is the cost prohibitive? "Money can do anything." I was into a similar situation. On a moto-forum I had a discussion about Honda PCX, with someone and both decided the PCX is a better availa...

Re: PCX125 vs PCX150..."Let's Race"

I get 150cc instead of 125cc(it was cheapper with about 500 euro) because a I wheight 105 kg=260 lb and I belive will be better to the accelerations, knowing both models are limited to the speed of 100 km/h. Until now I get the following results: 0-200 km........mileage=90 200-300 km.....mileage=107...

Re: Increasing mpg with each fill up?

Larry, in your case I guess is about the fact that you more know & feel your scooter and your usually routes, you better accomodate with the PCX and you apply to it your best kind of driving.(The optimisation!) I am at the third fulfill and I got fuel consumption of 2L/100 km, echivalent of a mi...

Re: PCX or fly 150? MP3?

I vote for a japan scooter for technical considerations. Italians are very beautiful stylish, but aren't very reliable. The fiability is not so strong as japan brands.

So PCX I think is a good option.

Re: PCX125 vs PCX150..."Let's Race"

...very interesting and usefull test!
Because I asked myself few times if why to wait for 150, when 125 was immediatelly available and more, with a 450 euro discount. Finally, as you test prouve for real benefits, I am glad with my choice.
Thank you Skuuter!

Re: I rode Pcx 150

Hmmm....interesting...my PCX150 is capable of retaining speeds waaaay better than my PCX125 ever did. Hills and Mountain Climbs hurts the 150's Speed very little, but knocked as much as 20 MPH off the 125...having owned Them Both, the PCX150 would, for sure, be my starting point for a Larger cc Pro...

Re: Increasing mpg with each fill up?

You are right GN2! My problem is to know what is normally in my area.(Bucharest) The town has a very crowded traffic (stop& go facility make me feel comfortably into my mind...). Downtown I can't use more than 45-50 km/h. I can get more speed during the week-end on the routes connecting the sate...

Re: Increasing mpg with each fill up?

It is normal; it is about breaking in; what I got:

-0-200 km ........fuel consumption=2,64 L/100 km....~ 93 mileage
-200-300 km.....fuel consumption=2,22 L/100 km.....~107 mileage

I have only 300 km and the maximum speed was 50km/h; next 100 km I will touch 60 km/h...

Maddiedog, it is OK...all people could have bad moments, bad reactions...it is important that finally we can understand each other and get both of us advantages of our comunication. Re: Drive belt

Do not use Malossi drive belt; usually their life is half of an original belt by the experience of a lot of friend owners of scooters (many brands & models). If you use Malossi inspect more frecvently the belt. An elecrical 12V impact wrench is a very good investment, but one with electronic adj...

Re: 2014 PCX 150?

I belive that the sales of PCX150 are on a trend UP...I had the delivery from 45 days of the deposit payment of 10% of the price. It is depending what are the forecasts of the Sales Dept. of Honda.
The PCX150 has a good price, the maintenace cost are very small, so I think they will sell very well.

Me too! Yes, I think as the other that said: 1)The Motul 300v is one of the best oil; but not recommended for PCX at the start of the life. Plese take into considerations: a)Full synthetic oil used during breaking-in procedure will produce "glazing" on the surface of the cilinder, Usually...

Right!...For me I guess a medium capacity will be satisfactory; space for one full helmet and some extra room; in range of 35-45 Liters. It is difficlut to find, the shops do not keep stocs.

Re: New user - 2013 PCX 150

Thanks to Hyadum for posting my Red PCX! Thanks to the other of the "club" for your attention and posts! Next week I must solve with the topcase; the initial room offered by this scooter is a small one; I can't accomodate any of my helmet, excepting a very cheap (10 USD) plastic braincap, ...

Re: 2011 PCX 125 top speed?

I am a new owner of a PCX150 (just only 90km!)...I can't say a lot of things but I read the Certificate of Conformity issued by Manufacturer and it say that speed is limited at 101km/h. I guess isthe same for PX125. So only you can get more of versus 125 is a better acceleration. I hope I am wrong, ...

Thanks....Mel, as you I have too, a red Burgman 400...don't you think that PCX look like a smaller burgman? they are very similar.
