I'm not sure which is prettier--your bike, or the background scenery in your photos. Congrats!

This really stinks. I'm no lawyer, nor do I play one on TV. But it seems like there should be an option to put a disclaimer throughout the site (maybe in the header of each page and/or in each person's signature automatically)...you know, some legal language around the content of the site being peop...

Re: 2015 white PCS
My feeling is it was designed for a very small person. It was designed for me. I'm 5 feet, 5 inches tall. My husband is the same height, and neither of us has ever had a complaint about the seat. I actually find it to be quite comfortable. But that's unfortunate because we're shorter than most...an...

Re: Motorcycle Clubs
I'm pretty sure I would get laughed at if I tried to join a motorcycle club with my PCX. I agree with the others... join for the discount, but find others to actually ride with.

Re: Helmet Law
I work in the ED in a decent sized hospital. We see a fair bit of motorcycle and ATV traumas. I can say from what I see that people wearing full face helmets tend to do a lot better on average than the people who ride with the little bowl style helmets some of the cruiser guys wear. People wearing ...

Nothing personal, Mel46, but I don't think I want to be your friend. Your friends don't seem to have good odds.
All kidding aside, man, those are depressing stories. But very convincing for helmet skeptics, IMHO.

I often see riders pull off the road just across the river so they can remove their helmets. You probably do, too.SECoda wrote:I know - I live south of St. Louis myself. When you cross the river it is very rare to see someone actually wear a helmet in Illinois.

Re: Helmet Law
Move to Missouri. They're still required here, and our insurance (mine and my husband's) is super-cheap. You do bring up a good point. I'm a fan of helmets myself, and I really hate seeing riders on the interstate with no helmet and wearing shorts, t-shirt, and sandals (or flip-flops, which I think ...

Re: 2015 pcx 150 or Forza?
I have to agree with GeezyRider about getting the Forza if you plan to do much riding on the Beltway. I don't feel comfortable/safe at all at 55+ on the PCX. This bike just doesn't feel stable at its highest speeds. Plus, the wind resistance (with stock windshield) against my head and body can be pr...

Re: My Husband and I both got the PCX 150
I was riding at about 55 mph yesterday, and the scooter did not feel very stable under me at all. It was almost getting wobbly. Didn't feel safe.Steph wrote:

You've probably shared this in other threads, but what leads you to live in Thailand? Just curious.

My husband and I ride with high beams on during the day. It was suggested by the guy who sold us our scooters, and we thought it was a good idea.

I agree. The bike is already so light...much lighter and it might as well be a bicycle.kramnala58 wrote:I somehow think that if I am thinking that consciously about excess weight, I'm not really enjoying the bike and maybe it's time to start considering a different ride.
