Got mine done at a Yamaha garage on my first service as Honda couldn't fit me in. Wouldn't worry about it! Get on and ride it!

My mechanic said mine was about half worn at 15k but there's not too much stop start in my commute

Getting better with age!
only about 500 miles away from my 20k service but had two tanks this week one my best tank ever at 132.5mpg and then another 130mpg today, not bad when she's due an air filter and spark plug change

Been changing mine around the 7.5k mark they are only cheap anyway.
Do check your air filter every 2.5k mine tends to get a bit of oil on from the combustion process

My pcx is doing a 70 mile round trip at the moment approx 1:10 each way, bike will be absolutely fine, your bum on the other hand may not be! Obviously keep up with the maintenance as 2500 miles flies by with me doing 70 a day but longer runs have seen me hitting 129 mpg
