Re: 2014 New Model PCX
It's here! I had originally intended to get black, but a candy red one came in first and I couldn't wait any longer (just like a kid at Christmas time!). Price in Thailand was 82,000 baht, all in, including first year full coverage insurance, a helmet, a cover, and 2 years of free scheduled mainten...

Re: New White PCX 150
chesney every cover if you mean tail bodywork panel is removable :) but on previous models, on removed panel the drilling of holes was needed. How it is on your new model is not so clear for me. Do you need only remove black plastic bolts to open the holes ? After removing how the body panel holds ...

Re: 2014 PCX 125 White vs Matte Black
I love my 2014 PCX. I have the Matt white and finding harder to keep clean than I anticipated. Any dirt in the crevices around the seat will show up easily compared to my gloss bronze one from 2010. Not too fussed about colour, but I'd probably go with gloss next time.

Re: 2014 Honda PCX
More to it than just cost comparison. How do average earnings compare? In the UK a PCX costs less than three months average salary. I'm on a UK salary in Thailand paying Thai taxes so it costs me less than a month's salary. If I was on a local salary it'd come to about three months pay. I guess I c...

Re: 2015 HONDA PCX 150
Well Kat, perhaps if you had waited....that same woman in the car that hit you on your 2013 PCX may have hit you while you were just walking down the street and hurt you even worse! Did ya ever think of that? Hey, Ya never know. So maybe its a good thing you didn't wait for the 2014 PCX. Just sayin...

Re: New White PCX 150
Does Honda make a bodywork panel with pre-drilled holes? I have seen one here in Thailand and it seems that if there was one, Thailand would surely be a place to get them. You might consider ordering a spare one in case you swap the bike out without the box. Not an issue for me as I have the 2014 m...

Re: New White PCX 150
So now I'm very curious - would that piece fit on a 2013 model, so I wouldn't have to drill holes? The rear of the 2014 is very different to the 2013, it exposes the who area for the top box in a rectangular shape so I just remove the cover plate. The 2013 has no cover plate and you have to actuall...

Re: New White PCX 150
That looks exactly like what you would need to put on the generic mount. You will probably need to drill out the piece that you removed so that the holes in it are large enough. [/quote] I don't think I need to drill the plate that I removed, it just covers the holes, nothing else. I'm sure the moun...

Re: New White PCX 150
Not sure if the middle bit pulls out, otherwise looks like a rivet. Don't try to pull it out. Push it in, it is the same like at the battery cover of the 2013. After you push the middle in about 5 mm you can pull the beast out. To remount, push back the center, insert the plug and push the center i...

Re: New White PCX 150
Good job everyone. Used the phillips screwdriver in the toolkit to puncture the middle bit, a bit of wiggling with the plastic plate and voila!
Do you think I can attach a generic mount? I've never had a top box so any advice would be great.

Wanted to unscrew the plate and see what is underneath, but I'm stumped by the type bolt/screw used. Any advice?BrAtKo wrote:Any news regarding to this ?ChesneyHawkes wrote:I'll unscrew the back plate and see if they have pre-drilled holes.iceman wrote:Be great if the new 2014 125 PCX has the guide holes ready made for a top-box.

Re: Bike stalling
I accidentally left my keys in for an hour and it drained my battery completely and needed a friend's car battery to help jump mine. That's been the only time the battery has failed on me in the two years I've had mine (plus the two years that my friend had it). Just moved to the 2014 model this wee...

Re: New White PCX 150
Am I mistaken, or is the glovebox on the left dash now white instead of black? The 2013 PCX had the black plastic glovebox...but in these pics, the dash looks all white now. Glove box now matches the paint job. it's bigger and has a downward slope so I can fit a smartphone easily. I like the fact I...
