Check the exhaust bracket, radiator shroud, etc. Could be rattling from that if something is loose.

The Honda CTX700N has optional automatic so you wouldnt have to learn the clutch, the riding position is nice too. The price tag is steep though at 8k

No plans for a big bore kit? It looks like it would be all of a 30 minute job to swap the piston and head since the engine appears open on all sides. Is the exhaust loud?

Recently I have noticed some vibration and noise from my PCX that usually starts at 48 mph and lasts thru 52 mph. I dont know of any that clip on or off, though the process of switching from stock to my Givi took all of 15 to 20 minutes to complete.

I have to wonder then if there are states with "classes" of licenses, how does it affect insurance and plate fees? In theory scooter plates and insurance rates should be lower then some giant 1500cc Victory cruiser.

I find it interesting that you have "classes" of cycle licenses. Here in SD anything over 50cc needs a motorcycle license, doesnt matter if you have a 150 PCX or a 1100 Goldwing. All the same license. Pretty sure it's the same here in New Jersey, which to me is pretty damn scary. No way s...
