Re: Wider Tires

You do not need city grips to lean enough to scrape your panels. I get the sparks flying with the stock tyres :-)
Though buying city grips as my next tyre, far cheaper than the stock ones.

Re: PCX Christmas Decoration Ideas

Nice snowflakes :-) I think I might go down the lines of snowflakes and presents. It should look better with a simple well done theme than sticking everything Christmas onto the bike :-P

Re: PCX Valve Adjustment

I checked mine at 5000 miles. Had it dealer serviced at 600 and 2500 miles.
I don't think I will check them now until 15000 miles as they were on the tighter side of the tolerances when I checked.

Re: Brake lights in top box

My topbox (givi E370) has the option to fit a light kit. Its a little pricey but is designed to fit correctly in the topbox. I got it because more visibility is always a good thing.

Re: Honda PCX 150 From Indonesia

Then standard tyres on the PCX are fine. You can fling the PCX around bends and it never steps out of line. And these are roads full of potholes and sheep. I would never say not to, I would probably just do it for the hell of it but it is not going to increase your contact patch with the road by muc...

Re: need help

If it helps, the only time I have seen the full fuel gauge blink, is when checking the valve clearances. Had the fuel pump disconnected and turned it over.
If its not starting I would guess a problem with the pump.

Re: Waterless coolant

Well I'm working along the lines of keeping the PCX until it falls apart. Been doing the servicing ect myself so saving a lot on Honda Labour. £55 for something that will live the life of the bike and I can just put back in if I have to drain the cooling for any reason, does not sound too bad to me....

Waterless coolant

Just spotted this http://www.evanscoolants.co.uk/ Its waterless coolant, Removing the need to replace the coolant in any cooling system. It also works at much lower and higher temperatures and will not cause any corrosion. Found 2L bottles on ebay for about £35 and the prep fluid will come to anothe...

Re: Classic Racing at Donington Park

Most of them are man and wife teams. Takes some trust and guts to jump around on them things like they do. I would love to do the classic 125 race, starting to think I should hunt for one and start going racing! Also I took hundred of shots, just have to go over them all and I will post a few more f...

Thanks, I use a Canon 1000D with a 1980's 70-210mm 4.0 canon EF lens. Nothing amazing but it does a good job cheaply.

Re: How to: Oil Change for Honda PCX

Just changed my oil for the first time myself. It was changed at the 2500 mile service at my Honda dealer previously. I bought a bottle of Castrol Power1 10W-30 Synthetic. And after the change the engine is so much smoother sat waiting at lights I feel a lot less vibration through the bike, I lose l...
