Re: Video I made of my first valve clearance check
Had a look at your videos. Very interesting. Did you change the rubber gasket or just reseal the old one? BIG WARNING! Its fine to use the old gasket but make sure all the metal surfaces are clean of any old sealant and that you apply the new sealant properly! I found dipping my (latex gloved) fing...

I bet that bag was comfortable to lean back on! Last summer i was supposed to do a trip round Norway, Sweden and Finland but had to cancel, really feeling the need for a PCX adventure now.

Re: Release date for new PCX in Thailand.
Compared to mine (2011) it looks a little better but i havent seen the 'esp' so it prob is the same as that. Always hated that orange backlight...but then i did get 0% fiance and paid £200 less than the current one!
Maybe spidermark just saw a Forza, from the side it looks like a new style PCX...?

Re: Rear fender rattle on PCX 125
Its a normal noise coming from the CVT, there are a few threads on it. When you slow the belt slaps about and you will hear a clunck from where all the roller drop, some bikes are louder than otheres

Re: Decision between PCX and S-Wing

Re: Decision between PCX and S-Wing
A new PCX is £2600 with £100 cashbach until 30th September. The bike is so reliable i would get a used on from ebay with a couple of hundred miles, save on doing the first service and several hundred pounds. Go for the colour you like rather than price, theres so much black plastics on the bike it l...

Re: Hi Visibiliy and being seen!!
I covered my PCX in LEDs about 3 months ago to make me more visible ready for winter.
Might have slightly overdone it to be honest but there's no way someone can say they ''didn't see me'', well worth doing!
I'll post some photos when i get round to it...

Re: Decision between PCX and S-Wing
A used S-wing is 100% the way forwards, every time i see one i regret buying the PCX. The PCX is a very good bike but for UK weather and for practicality get an S-wing or a 125 SYM.

Looking at this set so im basically covered for all the sockets i need for the car and bike. I heard they are good quality and a bargain at this price but thought i would see if anyone has used them or have an opinion on Halfords professional sets? http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/p...

I'm not bothered about warming up, im bothered about having no center stand for refueling, checking oil and parking in the tight spaces at work!

Re: Centrestand woes.... sound familiar...?
Anyone have news from Honda about this issue? Even tho its out of warranty i feel, as gn2 said it clearly 'not fit for purpose' but i it would be impossible to prove we haven't abused the stand! I really HATE using the side stand, very difficult to put shopping in, cant start it to warm on the side ...

Re: Centrestand woes.... sound familiar...?
I would call it a design/manufacturing defect...Honda would say we misused the stand and the reason for the reinforced 150 stand will be for the extra weight...when word gets out its going to effect my resale value. Think ive gone from £1500 to £1200-£1100 resale if the buyer sees it? Its now the on...
