Re: Is it safe?
Basically, as you twist the throttle and the engine RPMs raise, the clutch engages. As you are coasting to a stop below 10 miles an hour at some point the clutch disengages and the bike free rolls. If this is not happening your clutch shoes are damaged and need replacement. Yes this would be dangero...

Re: Is it safe?
If it's pulling forward you definitely have a clutch issue. The centrifugal clutch should disengage and allow the bike to coast from around 8-7mph to a stop. Check this picture for an example

Re: Is it safe?
Reach around the lower left behind the rear wheel. You will find your rear brake cable. Check to see what your free play is in the left brake handle and adjust accordingly. Maybe the cable is too tight? Maybe someone thought it would be a practical joke to tighten the nut a few turns not realizing t...

Re: My Yuminashi PCX experiences - POOR!
I'm going to hypothesize that WackerW and ThailandTuning are one in the same as the accounts were created within a half hour of each other lol. It's probably competition for Reggy. <admin note: I deleted a bunch of posts above this from the two mentioned users calling Yuminashi all sorts of terrible...

Re: 2015 pcx150 performance thread
The jerking feeling you are getting is the weights in the variator bouncing off the end of the ramps. An aftermarket variator eliminates this. Personally I recomend Daytona from Webike. http://japan.webike.net/products/21431479.html Not sure if the belt fits the '15 PCX but its the only way Webike s...

Here are the pictures of my yuminashi variator with the finish popping off after 2000 miles. I enjoyed it but I enjoy my daytona with sliders far more.

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
I'm laying in bed right now thinking about going down to the basement to work on it. I'm loosing my mind not riding but I also have to say that it's been a heck of a last few weeks. We're still moving things over from our old house. Our new house is a family house so we are condensing things as we m...

Re: Question about tyres and drive belt replacement
All I can say is with my mods I run 70 mph at 8500 rpm and 75 mph at 9000 rpm. I want my Kevlar belt. My stock belt only lasted 1100 miles before it was at the wear limit with riding 70-75 mph.

Re: Question about tyres and drive belt replacement
I'd recomend an aftermarket belt just because USUALLY the dealers need to order the belt so you will wait anyway. The aftermarket REINFORCED belts are the way to go. They wear longer at higher speeds. The maximum wear if I remember correctly is 21.5mm. Don't worry so much about mileage as the wear. ...
