That's a really good video to see how the bike looks on the road! Thanks for linking that.

What's the thing on the dash with the green A with the circle around it? To the left of the speedometer.

Re: Getting a PCX 125 on Saturday!

I know in the CBT they said to leave a scooter run for a few minutes before using it, and to do a check each day that all the lights are working, etc. ~~ I'd actually like some input on the quote above as well. I don't know much about the mechanics side, and would like to know if this is different ...

Re: Any brits drive in America?

Sounds like its easier driving there than over here! Thanks for the tips. I read about the turning right on red rule, seems a good idea. 4 way crossroads sound confusing though. ~~ Car to the right is supposed to have the right away at a 4 way stop. So if you stop at a stop sign the same time as an...

Re: Are the accessories for the PCX 125 and PCX 150 the same

maddiedog, Thanks for responding so fast. Not sure what shield I want to buy. The more I read these posts, the more confused I get. No one that I can see says that they really love what they bought. I am a cold weather rider; had my old scooter out at 14 degrees last winter. I need something that i...

~~ Taz: That may be a law, but it's the kind know one recognizes. You'll see 10+ cars are humping behind some jackass doing 10 MPH under the speed limit. Daugava: Undertaking is when someone passes another vehicle where the passing vehicle uses the slow lane to pass instead of the 'passing' lane. Si...

Re: Got my PCX150 reserved today!

~~ After looking at Honda's official site, it appears that pic I posted is just photo-trickery. It IS the bright red you see in other pics, but as someone else on the forums mentioned, the color appears to darken significantly in low light/shade. Shame, I'd have preferred a more maroon color, but st...

Found the numbers last night and I guess the total, registered count for the scoot parade was 660 bikes. :ugeek: That's a lot of scoots! Although I did see a few of the reverse trikes in there. Not sure what those are classified as really.

Wow that rear view is kinda cool! I constantly peek at my rear view mirror when I'm driving, so it being in my forward field of vision would probably not bother me, but I can see how it'd really mess with some people.

Re: Helmet Cheek pads for Glasses

~~ Even if I had worn it with removed padding, I'd have to assume it would still be safer than a half helm, which was looking to be my only other option until I found that other helmet (and w/o spending hundreds of dollars). My glasses still fit a little odd in them. They don't really squeeze by the...

Re: Got my PCX150 reserved today!

US only gets black or red. The red looks darker than the ones I've seen from other countries though. Dunno why that is. The red is more of a maroon or burgundy than a bright red. Originally I had my heart set on the red one, but the chrome parts almost look out of place on it. Looks like only the ha...

Got my PCX150 reserved today!

I've been bugging my local shop every week or so about when they are going to get them in. Today I decided to ask if they do reservations for new bikes. His response: "we do and you probably should if you want one. There are nine people on the to call list, but no one has put money down yet.&qu...

Re: Helmet Cheek pads for Glasses

~~ Just to update: After trying on a few different helmets and brands at the store, I found one that fits tight, but has soft enough cheek pads to squeeze my glasses through (wasn't remotely possible with the Z1R Phantom helmet as the padding was extremely dense/hard). Got this one in the white/red/...

Thats what got me wanting to buy one. Looks a lot like my moms reflex. Looks more like a motorcycle than a typical scoot.

Re: Looking into a PCX150 and I have a couple questions.

~~ Wow really? 440 lbs on a 125 model? Seems like it'd be super sluggish on turning and such. I haven't ridden one yet, but I'd be kinda shaky about putting more weight on the bike than it weighs (150 model weighs 286 pounds). Just seems like it would horribly throw off the center of gravity on the ...

From what I've seen, you wouldn't feel anymore upright than on any other scooter.

As far as the helmet goes, well, in my opinion you should be wearing one anyway. Just have to find one that you really like. Slap some stickers/decals on it if you have to. :)

Amerivespa 2012 | Lake Geneva, WI

~~ So this just happened a weekend ago out by me, but thought I'd post it up here anyway. The local shop was the hub for a Guiness Book of World Records attempt for most scooters in a parade. They managed to break the North America record, but came up shy of the World record. The owner of the shop s...
