Re: a Bikers worst enemy..

@gn2 - thanks for the welcome. Looking back at some of your previous posts, you come across as a contentious/obnoxious character so I don't know why the fuck I am bothering to waste my time replying to your inane comments - probably for the benefit of myself and others who value different points of ...

Re: Visiting the UK from Thailand - anyone want any small bi

Tony, I got your PM but can't work out how to reply so let's keep it all transparent and just use the board so as others can benefit too. I couldn't find the one you spec'd with a price but TBH, didn't look too hard (that's your job!) but my wife has something similar on her 150 and it's made of kin...

Re: Visiting the UK from Thailand - anyone want any small bi

Google "pcxclub thailand" and that takes you to a forum. At the top of the forum is the advertisers/sponsors logos - click on them and you can see pics of all the stuff. I've used "Furie Shop" to get some stuff and have been happy with their service. Like I say, small items only ...

Visiting the UK from Thailand - anyone want any small bits?

I'll be visiting family in the UK (Poole, Dorset) early in July and am likely to have a bit of space in my suitcase. PM me if any of you UK PCX riders would like any small stuff bringing over as I know it's a lot cheaper here than there. I'm thinking badges, levers, small covers, footboards e.t.c, n...

Re: a Bikers worst enemy..

Glad you're OK Scottish. I dumped my new (to me) PCX the other week on loose dusty crap in the gutter as I was filtering and a truck "closed the door" on me. Whilst I appreciate nack all can be done on diesel, I blame mine on the combi brake system as I just grabbed a handful of both brake...

Re: New bloke here - my wife's PCX + bling

Thanks guys. ;) @Teamtd11 - the lights look the same in reality as in the pics. Bluer with the Angel Eyes on and they really stand out amongst the hordes of scoots here with regular headlights. @Wooley - yes, a kind of purpley/red and I know the old Bill would have me in an instant if I was back in ...

Re: How much did you pay for your PCX?

Got the wife a PCX150 here in Thailand a month ago for 78,000THB (GBP 1600/USD 2400) out the door then got myself a secondhand 2 year old 125 model for 50,000THB (GBP 1000/USD 1600) See this thread for details: http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=307 Thing is, it's not just the original ...

Re: What is your cage?

Luckily it is sunny here most of the time, but in the monsoon season (starting now), it sometimes hoses down like you would not believe, then I take the truck - 2004 Isuzu D-Max http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k106/pikey1000/Photo0054.jpg I'm on the waiting list for a new Ford Ranger but due to la...

Re: New bloke here - my wife's PCX + bling

Thanks for the compliemtns and feedback everyone. She's now had the bike a little more than a month and has just had the first 1000km service and she's very happy with it. Meanwhile, I got to buzz about on it a bit and was well impressed. So much so that I sold her Airblade and my little Honda CZ-i ...

The love of my life

Here's my main bike - 2007 Triumph Bonneville with a few tweaks. My Mum died in 2007 and left me a few pennies. I bought this in her honour as she used to pillion on old Brit stuff in London in the 50s. My 6th Triumph and a keeper for sure! http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k106/pikey1000/129Large.j...

Re: PCX 150?

Just to qualify what I said earlier, the PCX125 is no longer available and has been superceded here in Thailand by the PCX150 but at roughly the same price, which is a steal. This'll probably piss off people that have recently bought the 125 but it does mean that secondhand values will take a knock ...

Very nicely accessorized. Any more info on the light up badges? I searched Ebay UK but no luck.

Re: PCX 150?

Just to let you guys know, the 150 is priced the same as the "old" 125 here in Thailand at 79,000 baht which equates to about 1,600 GBP or 2,500 USD. That's for the ally wheel model.

Cheers,

Pikey.

Re: New bloke here - my wife's PCX + bling

Thanks for the welcome. The wheels are down 1" from stock being 13" and the tyres are IRC MB99s 130/70-13 rear and 130/60-13 front. Seems to ride smooth on these but a little sharper steering than her old AirBlade which had 14" wheels. The seat is a simple bolt on replacement availabl...

New bloke here - my wife's PCX + bling

Just found this site and it looks great. I am a Brit who has been working/living in Thailand since 2005. I'm married to a local lass who had a Honda AirBlade for the past 4 years. The PCX 150 has been released here so I got one for her and put a bit of bling on it. I don't know the brand name of the...
