Re: Measuring the oil level. The scooter is on the center st

Step 1: put on center stand and check oil level
Step 2: prop up as if center stand weren't bent and check oil level

If it is the same for both checks you're fine, if not then prop it up from now on.

Re: Horsepower

The way i understand it, nearly all bikes that fit the class B category also fit the class A category. The only reason i can see for class A is to carry a passenger. Class A and B bikes are essentially the same; class A just requires extra paperwork and money.

There is one exception... If you ride a 50cc or smaller bike that has no license plate then passengers are prohibited.

Re: Horsepower

If you have a regular motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license then the new Indiana laws will have NO effect REGARDLESS of what you ride. The new laws target people who ride without a standard motorcycle endorsement (or driver's license) which can only be done on a 50cc or smaller bike.

Completely normal. Check out my fuelly. Every tank that was below 70mpg was mostly 60mph riding. My trend right now is 77mpg.

Re: Tyre pressures

30psi front, 36psi rear. I had to air up the stock tires every few weeks. Since then I've had Pirelli's and Michelin's and both hold air much better but still need air every few months.

Would be nice to know if the new 2015 pcx led headlights could be retrofitted.

Re: 2013 PCX 150 USA Real World Speed Information/reviews

At 6'2" 240lbs mine tops out at 60mph on flat roads no wind. Hills and head wind easily reduces that by 10mph or more. I suggest you look for something bigger especially if you want to ride 2 up.

Re: rear tyre

I have to disagree with mel on the mileage. My stock IRC rear tire was bald at 3000 miles. I would consider my riding style normal or average. Changing the way you brake makes a big difference on the tires. I tended to favor the rear brake until i realized how bad it was wearing. Now that i favor th...

I believe that would wear the clutch not the belt.

Must be nice! I went for a ride yesterday and although the snow and ice is gone the roads are all covered in sand.

Completely normal. The first notch is good for about 30-40 miles as is the last notch. The ones in between however are a different matter.

This was talked about recently here: http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1293

Re: across the US and back on the PCX125... my experiences

Bear with me --I have been swamped with things, and slowly getting back to this write-up. I'm in the process of setting up a website to document the trip, where I can tell a coherent story, rather post it in haphazard segments. I'm also trying to retrace my route in Google maps, which has proven ti...

If your interested in saving 400.00 on a Pcx call Chattanooga Power Sports.
It really is worth checking around for a good price. I called several dealers and found one less than an hour away that didn't charge a freight fee and offered free delivery! I got my PCX delivered to my house for $3528!

Re: A few questions Re. PCX 150

Does the PCX 150 have a plug in to charge a cell phone or GPS? The 2014 models come standard with a 12v plug. On all earlier models you can easily add one yourself. What octane gas does the PCX 150 need? Owner's manual says 87. Where is the gas cap on the PCX 150? It is under a locking flap between...
