Re: Just need to say I'm blown away that people doubt and refuse to believe the 21 can hit 85mph
I think we all agreed months ago this guy was a troll… The post never really made much sense… NCY makes a variator that allows you to get a few more miles per hour, but there’s nothing you can really do that will take a 150cc bike and magically make it do 80 miles an hour, ...

Now with the NCY variator and 13g rollers i'm still not able to get above 60 on the flats but i was able to get to 76 downhill and never hit the rev limiter. I need ...

Re: YSS Shocks & Fork kit for 2015 PCX 150 in California USA, or alternatives?
... great products. Many members in the past upgraded their PCXs with YSS products. If i wanted to upgrade my front forks I would choose YSS, though NCY would also be worth looking at. (My rear shocks are already changed out. I have Takegawa Lowering shocks so that my wife can ride it if she wants ...

Re: Acceleration test
I read your post too late and didn't do a before and after. I was running the OEM variator with the NCY outer face. The NCY variator inner bore went out of spec, allowing for too much play that resulted in slugish acceleration due to binding of the variator with the boss. ...

Re: Acceleration test
I am not even going to attempt this, but my 2013 with NCY variator, drive face, and weights gives me a max speed of 75 mph, though I have 13 gm weights which will not be the fastest takeoff weights. I think those would be 11 gm.
My objective was more top end, not how fast I could get there.

Re: Noise with acceleration
Thanks. I'll try to post a video. You happy with the NCY for a variator upgrade? Recommend it over a Massimo? NCY variator and NCY Driveface is a great combo. Gained almost 10mph on the top end. Adding very light weights gave me the crazy accelerator ...

Re: 2019 NCY Variator/Drive face upgrade - no improvement at
2021 models have the more efficient 4 valve head from the nss125 forza, that's why they are more powerful than previous 2 valve 125 models. Also the 153cc vs 149cc is a change to optimize model range. Manyarkets have a tax, insurance licence limit at 150cc, however in Italy the minimum requirement t...

Re: 2019 NCY Variator/Drive face upgrade - no improvement at
The 150cc manual for 2013-2017 models gives final reduction for 2013 models of 10.552 and 2014-2017 of 10.751, all 153cc across the range. Not got the 125 manual to hand. So your calculations match the official honda doc's for 2013-2017. Not sure about 2019 versions but the 2021 specs seem to sugges...

think i did the math correctly on the above years and the gearing and i would say the 2019 has the tallest gearing. not what ive always heard, but if you calculate how many times the drive shaft turns for each 1 turn of the final gear (rear wheel also which it is directly attached to the final gear ...
