Re: Puncture advice...

You'll probably be ok fitting a rear only. Plenty people have. It's not a fancy sports bike after all. When I changed mine I got the wheels painted so replaced the both but I still had plenty life left in the front and would have left it otherwise.

If it masks the problem, wouldn't it suggest a bearing?
It might. It would be more of a diagnosis aid rather than a fix though.

Re: Tapping noise coming from bottom end of engine

Sounds quite bad. It can help pinpoint it with a wee trick. Get a long thin screwdriver, put the handle to your ear and the end of the blade onto the engine. Move the screwdriver about till the noise sounds worse. It works best with a hard plastic handle not a rubbery one. It works as a rudimentary ...

If it's a 2015 it should still be under warranty. Might be worth a phone call to the dealer.

That's a bit harsh. The poor bugger got his bike pinched and your having a go.
Maybe you mean he didn't go answer your forensic questionnaire about the theft.

Sounds more like it.

Re: how to add tunes to my pcx

Helmet speakers and an iPod shuffle. That's fine for me.

I don't like it too loud anyway as I want to hear the traffic as well. It's just background noise really.

Helmet secured properly before you put the key in the ignition.
Start engine, ride away immediately.
+1

Just don't rev the stones off it till it's warmed up a bit.

Re: how tight is the tightest bolt on the pcx

I have one of these kit. I use it at work but it's plenty powerful enough for a scooter. The rule of thumb is use it to loosen and nip it up when tightening and correctly torque the component afterwards. You can't go wrong then. https://www.milwaukeetool.com/power-tools/cordless/2454-22 The batterie...

Re: U.S. Warranty

Good for town traffic, not quite as good on an open national speed limit road. (60-70mph) I use mine on a mix of roads. It keeps up in 60mph zones but forget about overtaking anything. It's not got the power to do it safely. It's like anything in life. Use the correct tool for the job and your going...

Re: i think cars are cheaper to use

Apart from the driven plate bearings that appear to be a weak point I've had no problems with my 125. It's been reliable and economical and fun to ride. Great in town, but not so great on fast roads. It's a small engined scooter designed for an urban environment so does it's job well.
