Re: Keeping PCX 150 from falling over
If its an original 125 model I wouldnt be using the main stand much due to the reported problems here with it. I have an original 125 and Im 90% of the time on the side stand. Its survived 65mph winds on the side stand as I feel the main stand is not as stable. Did you have any damage?

Whole seat. I've plenty of pics of the seat elsewhere on this forum. Search for seat hump.

Re: Question about 300cc Scooters...
I just asked the dealer where I bought the pcx where to go for seat trimming and they gave a couple of options, I just took off seat (2 bolts and disconnect seat switch wire) and left seat with the marine trimmer with instructions to also remove the plastic and reinforce hole. It was a 1 hour $100 j...

Re: Ready For Touring
Yes, oh come on, anyone can tour on a 1200cc BMW. But look at the challenge in doing it on a PCX. And not everyone has ewan mcgregors budget. Look at the fuel saved and cheaper parts bill. Good on him and good luck.

Ive been on a few with 30-40 scooters and motorcycles. You need to stop every 10-15 min or so to let the stragglers catch up when in urban areas with traffic lights etc.

Very nice pics, so who is she? A couple of years ago I took the east coast train from Taipei down south and was amazed at the coastal scenery once you got away from the towns and mining areas. Be great to explore on a bike!

Re: Mirrors for PCX
Its the thread size that's 10mm, not the nut size which can be any reasonable size. I've got eBay cheap white mirrors as the stock mirrors didn't fit on my tall windscreen as I have long arms so my handlebars are tilted fwd.

A US gallon of 100LL avgas is 3.79 litres or 2.7 kg. I think you used imperial gallons which is more.

6' 3.5". On the stock forza my knees press against the dash and the seat won't be as easy to modify as the pcx. The Maxsym seat will be easy to mod. Get the dealer to remove the hump! Its a 2 min job. Seems like the maxsym may be the f4 mentioned by gn2, anyway its sym's biggest I think.

Re: Question about 300cc Scooters...
On the Sym the 300 model here didn't fit me but the 400i model called maxsym here did, once the hump was removed. But I've got no local sym dealer so didn't pursue further. The most comfortable were the BMW's, shame they are so expensive.

Re: Question about 300cc Scooters...
I have the same problem at 6' 3.5". My pcx without the hump is comfy. the forza will need some thought how to mod. The seat backrest comes right off but there are painful metal mounting lugs. I put pics in one of the Forza threads of the seat without the backrest. You may be able to modify the ...

If you are over 6' tall I recommend the CB500X, fits me like a glove at 6 4". the CBR felt too cramped for me.
