Re: Bike shudders the first few times it starts each trip

I usually start pretty gently. This is also not so good. accelerate away decisively and firmly . Back off when...

Re: Brake Pads

You should be able to go down to 1/2 of that material thickness, as long as you don't go down to the metal backing plates.

Why are you wanting to replace these pads so soon?

Re: Leaking fuel 2013 150

Has anyone found a solution other than buying a mccuff? Our gas attendants fill up the gas for you here in SA, and I feel like I'm screaming at him every time I shout out a warning when they're about to overfill. Yes. The recommended solution here in North America is to always park the scooter on t...

Re: Leaking fuel 2013 150

Maybe it was hard to start and stalled because it was flooded? But it worked itself out when I let it sit for a few minutes. Flooding usually only happens on carbureted bikes. If this is a fuel injection related issue then please take it to your dealer to troubleshoot. There not much technical assi...

Re: Ignition key difficulties

Mine would sometimes stick to the first position (fuel door/seat) when turning it. I tried oiling the lock cylinder but what really worked was to use a wire wheel machine at work to de-burr the key.
10-20 seconds was all it needed.

I took a 22mm drill bit and drove it directly into the exhaust exit tube. I put the drill as far as it would go and i think it went through two baffles and some kind of funky pipe inside the stock exhaust. Here is a picture below but doesn't do justice. When it gets light tomorrow i can take some b...

Translation for those of us not British.

Ally = Aluminum, or Aluminium

Swarf = fine chips or filings of stone, metal, or other material produced by a machining operation.
