Re: Where is the nearest gas station?

Tank capacity is 2.5 imperial gallons, enough for 200 miles if you take your time. The economy meter is very accurate, the fuel gauge..... completely useless. You should be able to get a couple of fuel containers under the seat or stored on the tunnel/rack/throwover panniers. If you Google "mo...

Re: Changing tires, what are the options?

We're lucky to have a few independent small motorcycle shops locally, as well as two main dealers within easy riding distance. What I figure is that I do what maintenance I can myself but I'll need these guys for things I don't want to, or don't have the time to tackle. For that, they need to stay ...

Re: Help - 2018 PCX Quits at Stops

There was a spate of this a while back on Honda scooters, I think it was the SH300..? If I remember rightly there was a recall for it and the cure was a revised ECU. In the meantime get the dealer to check your throttle free play and idle rpm. The twist grip should have some slack in it before it s...

Re: Flat seat for tall rider

I'm 6"3" tall, when I rode a Honda pcx 125, when they came out I found it very small in size, now on my 4th Honda sh 125, [must like them] its different then the 3rd one [shouldn't be..?????????] only the colour, but the stepped seat keeps pushing me forward. And its just that bit too clos...

Re: Oxford hot grips and Tucano muffs.

Rode a vision on my CBT, far too small for a 6ft man whereas the PCX feels so much better. I am the other way round, the pcx is far to small in size for me,6"3",but the vision is better. I damaged a screw bit trying to get the bar end bolts out (three of us holding the bike and putting pre...

Re: Honda Parts - where ?

My Headlamp blew on my Honda vision 110, Honda dealer wanted £20 for one, looked up on wemoto web-site £4,24p, so ordered one and other bits. When I changed it, couldn't tell which one was the bulb that blew. What a rip-off.

So the screws and plates stay in forever? Nope. Got it removed recently, life is much better now. It's just a reminder that I really should dress for a slide everytime, and be paranoid with cagers. It is my hide after all not theirs. That photo is like my right leg, broke it some 31 years ago, metel ...
