Re: Honda X-ADV

Would love to know what the sales figures are, great looking bike but that price is eye watering, surely thats going to put people off, or is it aimed at the very well off as a weekend plaything? hmmm

Re: Is my new PCX 150 too small for me?

I just bought a new PCX 150 today. But already I am starting to regret it. I loved it when I test drove it, but now I am thinking it might be too small. I am 6 foot 1 inch, and have 36 inch legs. Part of the problem is that dang seat. It pushes me too far forward, which ends up making me feel cramp...

Re: Gone..

Oh well, they told me the bike was worth £1400 and eventually gave me £1150 which is probably more than I would have got selling it and saved me the repair of the speedo and odometer.

Gone..

So I woke up to the Police knocking on my door telling me my bike had been nicked last night, 3 young guys apparently broke the steering lock hot wired it and buggered off on it between 12 and 1am, I was planning on selling to get a 300 Forza but that's probably not going to happen now as the PCX wa...

Speedo fluctuating wildly

Not sure why this has started to happen but especially above 30 mph the speedo fluctuates anywhere between 5 and 20mph it basically flails about wildly...what could be causing it?

Looks pretty, but its still just a 125.
Make it a 200 and it might be more interesting.
Yes but it's clearly less rubbish than the 300. At least honda are learning from their mistakes
Just wondering why you think the 300 is rubbish!?

Re: Short term Insurance..(uk)

The bike is a private sale, If i bought the equivalent from a garage it would be at least a grand more than the price i'm getting it at, as for delivery yeah would love to do that, just dont have the faith to transfer £3000 to someone else's bank account on the condition they send me a working bike ...

Just found out today, when buying a second hand bike/car the tax no longer transfers with the vehicle i.e. you have to get your own tax for it. DOH!

Short term Insurance..(uk)

I'm planning on buying another bike and garaging it until I sell my beloved PCX, I still need to ride the new bike home though...so is it best to get some short term pay as you go insurance (3-4 days) or change my existing policy to cover any bike?
Anyone have any experience of this sort of thing?
