Re: New PCX top speed???
As previously revealed some time ago, to get a PCX to go 75mph just set off down a very big hill with the engine switched off.

You might want to look at your exhaust, when I took mine off to respray it there was no sensor in it.
Maybe the sensor is inside the head?

Re: 950 boobs
It would be extremely ungentlemanly of me to refuse her if she asked nicely, but having previously seen her weapon handling skills I think I might have to show her a few good training videos first!

She might have a nice bum but her weapon handling and range discipline are truly shocking.

Re: Why you should wear protection
There's a valuable lesson learned then, liveleak is full of video nasties and should be avoided like the plague.
It is a thoroughly vile and odious website imo.
At least al69 gave a warning and the URL wasn't hidden.

Yep, the CEO of Corsport didn't like what I think of people who use stupidly loud exhaust pipes. Well that was what finally caused the ban hammer to swing my way, there had been a private exchange of views for a time beforehand. I have absolutely no complaint, as I said before on their site, it's up...

Re: Why you should wear protection
My philosophy is that a rider should wear gear that is appropriate to the environment. If it's hellish roasting hot it's probably safer to wear cooler clothing so that you are comfortable and can concentrate properly. Same goes for cold climates, you can't think properly if you're frozen through so ...

Re: Weather report
Will you commute the whole time, or will you have to drive a car eventually? Once upon a time it would have been two wheels regardless, but I'm older and wiser now. If there's snow and ice about and you have the choice of a luxury AWD car or a PCX....? Actually I'm looking to trade the Jag for some...

The best helmet is really the one which conforms to the required safety standards and is most comfortable on your head.
Forget crash protection, Marco Simoncelli was wearing the best gear money could buy when he died and it made no difference whatsoever.

You don't want to be using a helmet hook...

There's an interesting page at Wikipedia which lists the fatalities on the IoM Mountain Course. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Snaefell_Mountain_Course_fatal_accidents It is extremely unusual for a TT to finish without at least one fatality. It's almost a nail-on certainty that each year at le...

How's it going out there in the worldwide PCX land?
Anyone managed to crack the ton on an overbored-turbo-nitro-JCosta-ed PCX yet?
Nope, didn't think so.
I learned recently that Michelin now make City Grip tyres in PCX sizes, so that's some excellent news
