It doesn't keep all of the fumes out, but where there are fumes, there are particles of pollution, and they do help keep that out ... at least some of it anyway.

Fumes are just as bad in Udon Thani, especially in the centre of town.

Re: Ride Comfort

The first mod I done on my PCX was fit YSS GXL's, with pressurizing sub-tank, the ride improved 100% $130 supplied and fitted here in Thailand.
The front forks on the PCX are made for Honda by Showa, I'm happy with them.

I like it, Kitaco have made something Honda will most probably make for future PCX models.
The present dash is lacking.

Re: My accessories so far (Matte black)

Very good pics, I live in Udon Thani and have the same PCX (Matt Black) My best and so far my most useful upgrade is fitting YSS GXL shocks, fitted some other Honda accessories, some trim. Only one dedicated scooter mod shop here and they are snowed under with work. New seat for the future, and a Gi...

Re: Hello from UK

I now ride a Limited Edition Matt Black PCX in Thailand where I now live. Udon Thani NE Thailand. Emigrated from Britain to Thailand, home of the PCX. Used to ride a Chinese copy of a Honda Phantom but it fell to bits and I had trouble getting the parts. I am not joking, when I tell you I kept a car...

Re: New member from Thailand

I live in Udon Thani, nothing up here for modding unlike Bangkok. I too bought the Matt Black Edition, I love the red bits on it, will change the saddle and get rid of the hump. Have carbon fiber panels on the way, to replace the cheapo looking plastic parts. Another member of the PCX Club Udon Than...

Re: Anyone in the US using an aftermarket exhaust for the 15

I smell an entrepreneurial opportunity. Unfortunately that person is not me. :( Indeed Sir, most of the aftermarket parts are made in Thailand and Japan. Even here in Udon Thani NE Thailand there are no dedicated PCX mod shops that can supply and fit. EVERYTHING has to ordered from Bangkok or Chonb...

Re: The new PCX, 2014 model.

If Honda decide on a new model I would like to see a clock, and a deeper saddle without the "Arsekiller" hump.
Lots of guys and girls here in Thailand like to modify, so slight style changes would not make much difference.

Trying to get genuine Honda PCX accessories in Thailand.

Tried the dealer where I got the bike only to be told Honda don't make those accessories any more.
I have a big shopping list, now I give up

Mine is a real (pussy) fanny magnet, the girls I know in Udon Thani love it.
As Captain Jim said "It makes me smile".
I also suffered from the mine is bigger than yours complex, regarding motorcycles.

The install I like the best is inside the glove compartment.
Maybe in the future a 12v socket and clock will come as standard.
