Re: Need help with cylinder head and valves.

YOU need the hi lift rocker arms for that cam!(or grind(file)your stock ones... been there done that  Thank you, I will order those rocker arms then. In the mean time, would it make too much damage to the stock rocker arms or the yuminashi camshaft? By the way, did you happen to measure the ma...

8) I actually like this a lot... wish honda made a minimalish 300. I was checking out the kymco site and also like the 150x... , but of course i would have to have one in a 300+ ;) Das: I really wouldn't recommend the new Super 8's We call them (Kymco forums) the Super Agility 150 now. I like the 16red the best, but I would buy a white... strip it and paint it black. ;)

If you want better fuel economy use the mix...(no complaints with my 20gS/15gR)
better acceleration use just sliders...
both ways will give the same top end.

Re: Might Have to Say "Goodbye" to My Buddy

Welcome :D well you posted in the forza section so i assume you are leaning towards the forza 8) If you want any sort of power above 55mph i think the forza is a much better choice. The pcx wont give you much more than the buddy... Is weight a factor? Even with my "forza" over 100lbs light...

I know a person who installed Yuminashi vario and Dr. Pulley sliders and top speed of 87mph. No problem what so ever.
:| I can only do 81mph on the stand... with Yumi vario/dr.p sliders, but i too have had no problems with this set up. :)

p.s. forza set up does 89 on the stand 8)

Re: Do I need a new battery?

I've been using the same Ballistic Battery (12 cell) in 3 different scoots for almost 4 years...
its only been charged one time when the stator died on the gy6.
big bucks $$$ but way worth it. 8)

I do this on all my scoots... I live and ride in a hilly neighborhood and do this often. even at 30+mph.
don't be scared just be aware of the jolt. ;)

Re: tires

go oversize :)
Get some 120 front and 140 rear if you want a smooth ride(makes up a lot for the weak stock suspension).
I probably will get a 120/80 front and 150 rear for the forza when that time comes...

oh yeah Black Bandit has been MIA for 3 years... :o

Re: tire changing woe with my PCX

Pansies   use a lot of lube and some muscle...

OP try using some wire cutters or similar to cut off the rear tire since it is no good.

p.s. I swapped my front 120s awhile back and the GTS 23 is way nicer a ride than the Scoot Smart forza crap.

Re: Headlight spider frame/mount

Yeah that sure is bent. I think cutting the bent piece off and re welding it in a stockish position would be the easiest. but try bending it with a large prybar and or take the frame off and hammer it back into submission. ;) probably will take a long time to get just right... but definitely doable....

Re: Headlight spider frame/mount

Welcome... I have modified this mount several times on both pcx and forza. I don't know your skill level, but you should be able to bend the headlight frame back into shape( it is somewhat thin metal and bends easy enough). taking it to a mechanic would be soooo expensive... replacing the headlight ...

Re: honda forza 300 - help from Italy!

Hey BRed
I've been using the 20g sliders/15g rollers since you recommended them... they work great
especially like them uphill(steep)... 55mph full throttle(stock) now 61mph 8)
please let us know if the "2418"s are better ;)
