Re: Switch from sport bike to scooter?

The CTX700N DCT Rocks! I'm having a blast on it. Also I have plenty of storage with my dry bag. The cubby hold by the gas tank can only carry a pair of sun glasses and papers.

All very tragic. Must have been hard to see the ped in the dark. Wish people would take better care. :(

Re: Switch from sport bike to scooter?

I got the CTX 700N DCT. I added a rear carrier and dry bag to hold my stuff. The bag holds lots of stuff! The DCT transmission is different then the CVT. It actually shifts.

Welcome to the club! You should record all of your rides. For insurance purposes and also in case you want to start Motovlogging: http://www.motovlog.com While I don't vlog as such, I make these videos of all the stupid moves people come out with on the road: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnVPn9Q...

Isn't it great. :P Are you getting used to the new bike? I decided after 600 miles I have bonded with mine. The best part is accessorizing the V-Strom... F.A.R.K.L.E. -- Fancy Accessory Really Kool Likely Expensive Bonding has occurred. :D I got about 300 miles so far. The CTX 700N handles re...

Very strange, why would you buy a bigger bike ;)

I felt that riding in windy conditions improved when I removed my tall wind screen and re-installed the original little screen. Strange. I also bought a bigger bike.

Re: City scape & Vultures

It's a Nelson Riggs medium Adventure dry bag. It has a rigid floor that allows it to hang over the rear rack without sagging down over the rear light. I got extra gear for weather changes including rain. I got from Revzilla. Don't purchase it from the manufacturer. They want about 25 dollars more.

Don't think I've ever seen a vulture in person before. Glad that the warmer weather is here! We been riding our CTXs. Went for coffee. Unfortunately had to go to Starbucks since our favorite place is gone now. 20150406_154315.jpg 20150411_165937.jpg Close up of storage. No place to store anything. H...

I'm not the only one! ;) Hope you enjoy your new bike when you get it. :D Saw someone going by the name of Kermit on the Honda CTX700 forum. They mentioned that they also have a PCX150. Wonder if it's our Kermit?

Re: How cold will you ride?

@qwayzarr - Unusual for your gas gauge and speedometer to stop working at at 30 degrees. May want to get that looked at. Also 25 degrees (i'm assuming 25 degrees F.) is a chilly ride! There is a forum member that rides in single and minus digit temps without a complaint. Amazing! @iceman - We didn't...
