In my opinion, Michelin City Grip is not particularly well suited for winter riding. The tread is too smooth. A proper winter tyre looks like an off-road tyre.

I don't like the IRCs in the first place and it is safe to use winter tyres throughout summer, whilst the other way around is not. ------------------ IRC makes winter tyres as well. No, it's not. I had one for a short while. It's liquid-cooled with a small fan attached to the engine side. Elite equals Honda Lead outside the US. The new Honda Lead 125 has the same engine as the PCX.

In Thailand (and maybe some other counties, Brazil?), it does have an alarm by default.

Any maintenance should be carried out only after having carefully prepared for the job. Check the facts in the manual and acquire required tools. Is it so hard to google or search in this forum? A hundred years experience with auto maintenance is of no use if you rush and choose to ignore manufactur...

In Thailand, no two-wheeler, no matter what size, is allowed on the freeways or expressways (tollways, elevated freeways). Have you been to Ko Chang yet? I'm afraid the best scenery is in the northern part of Thailand around Chiang Mai (Mae Hong Son loop). A bit too far to go from Pattaya if you only have a week to spare.
