Re: Breaking In !

Just do what they recommend in the user's handbook. Easy on the throttle for the first 500 km. Then change the oil at 1000 km. That's the single most important thing to do.

Welcome to the forums, Isan dweller! Take it easy and keep the rubber side on the road. Maha Sarakham, that's pretty close to Khon Kaen.

^ That's called "progressive access". Wait until you're 24, take the test (and pass it) and you're directly entitled to ride any capacity two-wheeler ("direct access"). Here's more on the L-plate system. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L-plate https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia...

According to some statistics or surveys, the colour white is the most visible and hence the safest.

The owner's manual for the PCX 150 is here. If you were looking for the service manual, I don't think there's a link available.

The panniers could easily be attached to the foot rests with a piece of tube, just like Andrew Charnley has done.

You could take a glance at these brands, too. Hepco and Becker http://www.hepco-and-becker-luggage.co.uk/ Krauser http://www.krauser.de/produkte/motorradkoffer.php?language=2 Moreover, I think that Givi makes the top boxes for Honda as well. The biggest difference is the mount, which is reversed.

Re: Just joined. Need info about mounting a trunk to my PCX

The best and strongest solution would be Honda's all metal OEM trunk base and a Givi Monokey top box with a Monokey adapter plate drilled and fastened with bolts. Givi's monolock line is for small errands and leisure (scooter) use. I would go for TRekker cases if I had expensive equipment to carry a...

Re: Just joined. Need info about mounting a trunk to my PCX

The Givi mounts, brackets and adapter plates are perfectly OK for casual leisure use. Honda's own trunk base is all metal and heavy duty. The OP asked for something to endure and withstand professional use. So, I don't really see a point in recommending stuff that's not half as strong.
