Re: Cheap clock & thermometer

Sorry not much on the forum these days now its morphed to Forzas. I'm still happy with my pcx original 125 and the clocks going well too. It takes 2 ag3 button cells. The ones it shipped with lasted less than 2 weeks but the replacements lasted around 4 or 5 months. I've now got it mounted on middle...

Re: Honda NSS300 Forza

I sat on an old Forza and then a brand new one and for my 6 3.5" frame the old forza was nice (2 inches from knees to dash) but the new Forza is for shorties (knees squashed up to dash). Also the old Forza seat was nice and soft and comfy. New forza was hard, but maybe they soften over time? Im...

Re: Hello from New Zealand.

I'm seeing more and more pcx's here and they are becoming popular with uni students. I'm sure NZ will get more and you need some power to get up those hills in and around Auckland. I will be there in a few weeks time for work, wish I could hire one!

I like your top and side boxes, both look great. Just wondering how a pillion passenger will get on though! I take the occasional pax so just have an open rack.

If you skid or come off in the rain you can't blame the bike of tires. I commute in all conditions with the stock irc tires and as mentioned earlier just take corners slower.

Re: 'Hello' said the new guy

Hills with a 50mph speed limit you should be OK. If accelerating uphill from a standing start you can prob keep up with the traffic though not be burning them off. If the speed limit is higher than 50 I would get a bigger bike.

Mine doesnt make a noise now, it used to when slowing down but dont notice it now. I thought it was the variator. Also others have reported the tax disk holder can vibrate and cause noise.

Re: Make ride more comfortable

I'm 6' 3.5". You can tilt handlebars fwd and take the seat off and take to marine or auto trimmer and get them to remove the hump and plastic mounts. There are plenty of threads and pics here as lots of us did it. Search for seat hump or humpectomy. Cost me $100 for my seat to be redone as arou...

The short givi is 18.5 cm over stock and the ermax 25cm over stock so should be 6.5 cm higher than the givi.

Is the idle speed too low? Check this thread for how to adjust as its a regular service item:
