Re: Like these helmets?

I have an Evoline, bought last year, replacing my previous Evoline. The newer ones are lighter and quiet...

Nail-on-head!gn2 wrote:a trusted local independent shop to help out
I'd say this was far more important than a decent main dealer.
If you have a good, recommended independent motorcycle/scooter shop within accessible distance, buy the scooter you want from whomever you like, bad or good.

Re: Rain riding
Personally for me it comes down to staying as dry and as warm as possible. I back up GN2 about the genuine pinlock. It's absolutely essential if you want to ride without having to lift your visor at traffic lights and let cold air in. I would like to try a pinlock but it would be about $100. If I r...

Pretty sure that some Piaggio maxi scooters (X9? X8? Aprilia? Gilera Nexus?) had flaps that allowed hot air to escape into the footwell.

BMW c400 X - Eh,...that beak, that nose, the front end however you put it, show it, it's fugly! Shame. They messed that up. Looking at photos only I'd be inclined to agree. However I touched, foldled and sat on one at Motorcycle Live on Sunday ... and I've changed my mind. I like it a lot. I did as...

For most of the short journey stuff I do I would seriously consider a Vmoto scooter. The price is very reasonable, ie getting there.

No, I did not grow up in England, so "proper" English my be somewhat suggestive. However, No matter where we are there is a "proper", and it was taught to us. It seems somewhat obvious that it was NOT taught to the last few generations, so now we get to read and wonder... wonder...

Re: Film recommendation
Having read the book, I wonder if watching the film will tell me any more than I think I know.
I did have an idle thought to look for it on Netflix as I had last night to myself.
Unfortunately, "Guardians of the Galaxy II," caught my eye in the DVD cabinet before I could search.
