Re: New Forza 300 2018 is coming!
Nice...I guess. But it does look like the rest of the new scooters and I'm getting tired of the "up swept" styling. I'd like to see a Maxi Lambretta! And it looks like there's little room to stretch your legs out if you want to. Hopefully there's improvement in weight (lower) and ride (sof...

Re: Forza at 65-70mph with 135 lbs rider
I weigh 138 and have found the Forza to be fine at 65-70 mph and have had it up to 80mph once or twice. Does yours have the short original windshield, or a taller one? I would think the short one would become tiring at highway speeds after a few miles. I have the tall optional Honda screen pus a Lam...

Re: Windshield extension
Just got my clip on windscreen in today. It does work, keeping the helmet buffeting at bay. I have a taller honda windshield but is still a few inches too short. Before I order a more expensive bolt on, I wanted to see if this $25 one would work. I have a Laminar Lip on my Forsa tall windshield and...

Re: Why Is The Throttle So Hard To Control At Slow Speeds?
I'm having a problem with my 2016 Forza at slow, parking lot speeds. It's fine if I take off from a stop with a good amount of throttle. Throttle response is smooth and acceleration is plenty for me. But when I drive slowly, perhaps due to slow traffic, stop and go traffic, or in a parking lot with...

Re: Centre stand
Is there a trick to applying the centre stand? The Honda dealer showed me, but try as I might I can't do it. I can stand on the tip of the stand with all my weight and it won't budge. In case you are still having difficulty putting your Forza on the center stand, here is a video of the proper techn...

Re: Friction Zone
[quote= I've read the same in places too. I'm quite fascinated by these kinds of things so I spent a few hours Googling it one Saturday morning; Keeping in mind that there's a lot written about bike control on the internet, but that doesn't mean that all of it is correct (YouTube videos on counter-s...

Re: Friction Zone
Dragging the rear brake helps stabilize a slow speed sharp turn, like a U-turn on the street or parking lot. From a physics point of view I don't think it actually does anything. It's just a useful way of modulating the bike speed (which is a perfectly good reason to do it). According to riding man...

Re: Friction Zone
Is it possible to get into the "friction zone" ie: riding the clutch on a geared bike on a Forza? I'd like to master this for slow move maneuvers like u-turns. Am I correct that I could apply a little rear brake, and give it a bit of throttle? Dragging the rear brake helps stabilize a slo...

Re: New Forza 2016 ABS
The dealer should be able to order you an owners manual, or check the internet. Factory service manuals are availiable on the internet for around $50 new. Maybe used on eBay. here is a link to an owners manual downloaded on the internet... http://mototh.com/files/honda/Forza-300/Honda-Forza-300-Owne...

Re: Best way to lift a Froza 300 to change rear shocks
Put it up on center stand and do one side at a time. No 2x4 or other lever needed...virtually no spring load to overcome when Forza on center stand as shock is pretty much fully extended.

Re: New accesories/modifications
Looks like a Givi windscreen. Glad the cutting down worked for you. I need one that's taller than they make. Their "tall" is good for me up to about 55mph but at 70mph my head gets beat up inside the helmet. Not sure what you did to fix the seat hydraulics. Is that a different support? If...

Re: City grips vs. OEM dunlops
Hi all, Last, how much does it typically cost to get tires installed? Just want to make sure I don't get ripped off, haha. Thanks all. I just ordered a new front Dunlop from my Honda dealer...$66.93 plus tax. Old one has 12,350 miles on it and it's almost down to the wear bars...maybe another 500 m...

Partzilla.com has the OEM tire. http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/honda/HP-44711-K04-931.html Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk Thanks! I looked up their price and was pleasantly surprised....$66.93! Then checked with local dealer...same price! I was expecting a lot higher price for the or...

Re: 120/80-14 tire for Forza front wheel?
I had a hard time finding a Dunlop (Note spelling) for my 2014 Forza. I have a 120/70-14 Michelin City Grip Front that has been on for 21,000 km (13,000 miles). The Michelin will probably last a while yet. Who makes the 120/80-14? There are several...Pirelli, Michelin, Shinko, Metzeler. Avon, IRC.,...

120/80-14 tire for Forza front wheel?
Has anyone tried a 120/80-14 tire on the front of their Forza (120/70-14 is stock)? I have a 150/70-13 tire on the back (140/70-13 is stock). My thinking is that the larger front tire might last longer and raise the "trail" back up to original specs when used with the larger rear tire. I'l...

Re: Falling seat-seat damper.... Fixed!
Here is an easier way to keep the seat up. No removal of parts , risking breakage, and easily replaced if necessary. Video below about one minute and shows the installation.. http://mimed.io/s/5a61tg0jkdo0h6mgoul4saq7j3 Looks good. I thought about doing something like that but wasn't sure about the...

Falling seat-seat damper.... Fixed!
IMG_1014.JPG The seat on my 2014 Forza has never stayed up like it should, and hasn't stayed up at all for a couple years. It's a common lament here on this Forum. A while back a GeorgeSK posted that Honda has a new, stronger damper and that he had one installed and it worked...his seat now was sta...

Re: Forza rear suspension
Do you have a way to measure the wire diameter of the Malossi shocks. Thanks for any help you can give! I just measured mine with an old Ohaus slide caliper .250 inch Thanks! Apparently they have the same effective wire diameter. Have you found an improvement in ride with the Malossi's? Did you fee...

I gave up on the stock shocks and replaced them with Malossi rear shocks. http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=6183 Thanks for posting photos of the Malossi shocks installed on your Forza in the above link. My only complaint with the Forza (2014, 12000 miles) has been the ride...to hard...
