Re: Hello from Thailand

So as I alluded to in my previous post I decided to do something about the rear suspension on the Forza so off i went to my local scooter tuning store and purchased some YSS piggyback reservoir shocks part No.TC302-400T-04O @ 6200 baht ($175) and a set of milled alloy extenders/height reducers @ 25...

Re: Has anyone had their Forza seat fixed under warranty?

Good morning. The first opener dumper, 83590-K04-931 , had a force of 500N . The new one, 83590-K04-932 , has a force of 720N . How that's not a fix gentlemen? But, on the other hand, i was doing what GN2 proposed since day two (on the first i was extra careful). Common sense. Sadle is closing only...

Re: heavy when steering left

Something would seem to be obviously bent...likely one of the fork tubes. Is the handlebar straight across when riding straight down the road? If not...on a motorcycle you can sometimes force the handlebar back straight across by holding the front wheel firmly they yanking the handlebar so that it's...

Re: seat damper

I removed the seat damper last year to see if I could find a way to add a spring to it to give it more holding stremgth. Couldn't, so put it back. It worked a little on warm days before removing it...hasn't worked at all since then! I think someone here claimed Honda has an improved, stronger one fo...

Re: Another 2014 - 2015 Forza Recall in US

Just got the notice in the mail today for my 2014 Forza. NHTSA Recall 16v-661. It says the fuel pump cover may swell, causing pump to stop turning. Apparently parts are now availiable, as it says to call dealer. Had the original pump replaced on first recall...took dealer 3 tries to do it without c...

Re: Another 2014 - 2015 Forza Recall in US

I had the fuel pump replaced on my 2014 on first recall. Nothing now shows up using my VIN #....wonder if this "ne rexcall" isn't actually the original one that has somehow been recycled in error?

Re: Left over, new, 2014 Forzas availiable

There's a ire disposal tax (think they call it a "fee") here in Illinois, USA. I find it irritating but at the same time probably necessary, as it is costly to recycle/dispose of them and they do pose an environmental hazard when just thrown out. There's a ire disposal tax (think they cal...

Left over, new, 2014 Forzas availiable

Took my Forza into the dealer today to have the brake fitting recall done (complete in about 2 hours...no problem found) and noticed the dealer till has 2 new 2014 Forzas for sale. Price on the sales card said "$4699"...didn't ask if that's still an "asking" price. Dealer is Worl...

Re: Recall on 2014 FORZA

Does anyone know where this possibly loose fitting is? And what things need to be removed to get to it? Just scheduled mine in for this recall (two weeks away) and am a bit worried about what other problems could be created when the mechanic (excuse me...technician) attempts to take it apart to chec...

seat damper/lift...or lack thereof

There's been previous discussions here about the Forza seat, that it won't stay up, which is irritating when try to load something. My seat will stay up IF it's warm outside (60f+), the scoots on the center stand and there's no wind trying to blow it closed. otherwise, it falls closed. Under warrant...

Re: dumbest thing ever...

What's the dumbest thing you ever did or saw on a bike? I use a front fork lift on the scooter with the center stand down  This action lifts and rocks forward, the same effect as if you were coming off the 'C' stand whilst seated... only I wasn't  Fortunately I was able to toss myself be...

Re: Tool kit

I have recently purchased a new Forza NS300 AD and I love it. All of the documentation that came with the scooter indicate there should be a tool kit but I can't find one. The Honda dealer I bought it from have told me it doesn't come with a tool kit. Can anyone throw any light on this? Thank you. ...

Went out and tried to look at the rear pads on my Forza...hard to see, but appears to be 1/8" left after about 9200 miles. What's the thickness of new pads?

Re: noise from back. sounds like a bearing

How many kilometers/miles on the bike when the bearing was replaced dadragon and gn2? Did the dealer give any reason for the failure (dadragon & gn2)? Lack of lubrication? Error in installation? Poor quality bearing? Would be nice to know if it was a isolated problem or something we all should ...

Re: 2014 Honda Forza 300 Won't Start

OK, Thanks for all the suggestions. The FORZA RUNS. I charged up the battery a little more and cranked the hell out of it. It started. Does taking the key out so that the key magnets are far away actually help? I probably took a year of life from the starter. I am not sure how much the 7 degrees C ...

Re: Rear Shocks

My biggest complaint with the Forza were the rear shocks. Probably the worst stock suspension on any Honda I've owned. After much research, I ended up with Malossi shocks and it completely transforms the scooter. I also changed the rubber to Dunlop SX01. At the time of my purchase, they didn't make...
