Do you sit farther back in the new seat versus the hump? I like the looks of that seat but want a little more room.

Re: PCX150 2013 Fuel consumption

I bought a 2013 PCX 150 in January. On the first tank I got about 80 mpg. My second tank was 86 mpg. I think this will continue to climb into the low 90's after break in. As rainer stated "my truck get 17mpg" that is what mine gets also. I have a 60 round trip to work 5 days a week and I a...

Re: New seat from "Powerbypcx.com

I am trying to order a seat from Powerbypcx and am having a hard time navigating their web site. I can add the seat I want to my cart and when I try to check out via Pay pal that's about as far as I get. Click on Pay Pal and nothing. Also it keeps switching back to French which makes it tough. Any ...

I put an MSR fuel bottle in my top box. Not sure if it will get used, but it is there if I need it.

Re: Alternator max load?

Hi gang, Thinking about getting a PCX150 (US/Canada version). Would like to know about the max rating for the alternator. The full load of a standard pcx150 with batt charging. And whatever is left for after market electrical products. Specifically amateur radio gear. Would like to get a Yaesu FTM-...

I have a set of Scooter Logic mitts. They fit good until I added a cup holder, gps holder and 12volt outlet on my handle bars. I only used them once and will give you a deal on them if you are in the US.

I use Charter for internet only ($35 a month). Customer service is ok. With that internet connection I have an Ooma for home phone. Unlimited local and long distance ($3.73 a month) And for TV we use a Roku with Netflix and a bunch of free channels. ($7.99 a month) All run through the internet conne...

Re: Paint and Pinstripe

I bought the Givi mounts and bolted the trunk direct to those. Discarded the mount that came with the trunk. I have no intention of removing. Also I put the Givi mounts on the wrong sides of the bike as per the instructions. It just seems to me there is more support that way.

They come in gloss or matt black. I wanted a gloss black as it matches the scooter better. They aint nothing fancy, but for the price it works!!!

Re: Paint and Pinstripe

Thanks for the inspiration! I agree, the stock fender is too big, and the eliminator kits are high priced for what they include. I have a hacksaw and a file (and a sawzall, grinder, nail gun, belt sander...etc) as well as a day off tomorrow, so we'll see what happens. There is a nice line to follow...

Re: How long you been riding?

I probably started on a Honda 50 and 70 around the ripe age of 8. I just turned 52 today and have pretty much always had some type of motorcyle. I sold my Harley two years ago for some health related issues that are getting better so I bought a PCX as it is much lighter and easier to ride. And I rea...

Re: Paint and Pinstripe

Thats a hacksawed fender. I could not stand the look of the fender hanging down there and the cost of a fender eliminator was to much. Hacksaw and a file was free.
