Re: 2014 HONDA GROM
The followup might be the fully-faired Honda Groin: A Less-Than-Massive-Crotch Rocket.
Oh. A local Honda Powerhouse dealer is giving away a Grom this weekend.
If I win it, I'll let you know how it handles grout lines in the kitchen tile.

By chance, are there any zombies registered at this site?
If I can create a sub plot with zombies, then this is bound to take off.

Scooters and the Hummer Apocalypse -- The Movie!
I'm working on the script for Hollywood right now, but you're welcome to contribute. Following a worldwide thunderstorm: all Hummers, massive pickup trucks, stretch limousines and trucks belonging to home improvement contractors suddenly and mysteriously stop running. Toyota Prius and Nissan Leaf be...

Bah, I know the OP.
He actually likes far-ranging discussions!
He may have posed the question to elicit just that.
This sure is a fun place to hang out.

Re: Web site lets you compare riding positions on various bi
It is fun, huh?
I see the angle of my back was about the same on the BMW R100RT as on the PCX.
And the Honda VF500F was only slightly more extreme than the new Honda CBR500R.
Lots of fun comparisons to be made.

I did, however, notice that they don't show feet up on the forward rise section of the floorboards on either the PCX or Forza. They may not realize that's an option.
Still, a fun tool for overall comparisons and a clever bit of programming.

A Group of us used to "Line Draft" a lot with Ruckus 50 Scooters...especially in the Smoky Mountains....keeping Tires perfectly in line, inches apart isn't really safe and should only (in my opinion) be done with Riders You are really, really familiar riding with. Each Ruckus was differen...

Web site lets you compare riding positions on various bikes
Terrific comparison site ... lets you compare your riding position on bikes and scooters you own now (or in the past) to something new you might be considering.

Very interesting when I input several bikes I had ages ago to compare with the PCX and others I currently lust for.

Re: What is the most gas-efficient speed?
The best mileage obtained was 132 mpg at 30-35mph. More commonly, I get 105 mpg at around 40 mph, and at 50mph, the mpg drops to the low 90's. At these speeds, most of the energy used on a motorcycle is to overcome wind resistance. So, yes, in theory a draft team would improve efficiency (just like...
