You may also just find some Christmas Crackers already that would fit, some of the smaller ones, if you are careful enough dissecting them.
Be great around Xmas time if you could post pics of it on here all fully decorated up.

Re: PCX Christmas Decoration Ideas
Kudos for you doing this for a worthwhile charity. Only idea I can think of so far is get some toilet roll cardboard inserts wrap them up as Christmas Crackers, unwind your wing mirrors and have the crackers threaded over the stem and rebolt the mirrors.... Two Christmas Crackers with your wing mirr...

Re: New eSP on 125 top speed increase over older models?
not sure if its true but the eSP engines have a slightly higher rev limit hence bit more top speed. If shame they dont come in white as standard, only red for now Out of the 4 different colours it came down to the choice between the white or the red, both the wife and myself liked the red and with ...

Re: New eSP on 125 top speed increase over older models?
Surely for lighter riders? My lard ass and having the underseat storage full I was surprised. If 67 was the max for the previous model then with my weight I would have expected less.gn2 wrote:67 on the speedo?
If so that's the same as the previous model.

New eSP on 125 top speed increase over older models?
Not sure how many users on here have the PCX 125 eSP engine. So I took my new Red PCX 125 out for it's first lengthy ride to my parents house and back 110 mile round trip, partly to go and spend some time with them, partly to get the bike "bedding in". I was surprised that with my lard ass...

Re: split my tail :(
I am surprised the tail plastic is that weak. Will be fitting a top box to mine within the next month or two. I guess there are certain sections of the tail that have clips on that you have to be careful with. I most certainly wouldn't have been pleased myself if this had happened to my bike...that'...

Re: My first accident with the PCX
Really sorry to hear about your wife and yourself. Two important things....you both thankfully were not badly hurt....and it has not shaken your confidence too badly. You can always be aware on a bike and in control of your own actions, sadly we can never anticipate what obstacles others put before ...

Re: Have you got the hump?
Taken a look at the video, with the cost of postage and customs surely it would work out far cheaper removing the hump and getting the seat reupholstered instead.

Re: Dedicated heat grip socket - Truth or Myth ?!?
Hmmm... Have done some delving around with google (dangerous I know lol) part no. 08T71-KWN-710 led me to the japanese Honda website of which 08T71-KWN-710 being the attachment Grips. http://www.honda.co.jp/bike-accessories/PCX/gripheater/index.html It then gives reference to the grip heater control...

Re: Price Increase of PCX 125 in UK
I noticed several Honda dealers offering 4 years 0% on some of the other colours, guess to try and clear out old stocks now.
I would imagine that the eSP engines will start filtering into the other colours gradually during now and the first quarter of 2013 as dealers clear out old stocks.

Dedicated heat grip socket - Truth or Myth ?!?
I am intending to shortly install in one go both a 12V socket and heated grips on my new PCX 125. Now on this very forum is a great teardown guide by both Maddiedog & newpl, and I intend to do the same as newpl has done by tapping into the lighting, negating any need to use an inline fuse and ha...

Re: My New PCX
Partially hijacking this thread, another new PCX owner here, happened to notice that PCXMAN mentioned he was picking up his on September 29th, that's the same day I picked up my nice shiny new Candy Rosy Red PCX. I am in the West Midlands, so another UK owner here...looking forward to being part of ...

Re: Price Increase of PCX 125 in UK
Wow..so over £300 price increase in two years on the PCX...I am amazed some dealers are trying to sell secondhand ones for that sort of price.
One Honda dealer I went in had a £2100 price on a 11 Plate that had done 9K mileage.

Price Increase of PCX 125 in UK
As of 1st October 2012 the price of the PCX here in the UK has gone up from £2550 to £2600, my dealer also told me that the previous 3 year 0% finance deal - £99 deposit has also expired. Honda are now offering a still reasonable 2 year 0% finance deal, but I am glad I got my order in before the 3 y...
