KTM 125 Duke.

Look what I just got :) I need a geared bike so I can get some practice in before doing the UK full bike test.

Saw this on ebay - only 322mls on the clock, it's like new. Big saving ( I paid £2850) on new price and should sell pretty quick when I'm done with it in a couple of months.

Re: Tunnel bags

I just found out we have a specific law in our state preventing you from taking an animal between handlebars and rider, unless you are a farmer! Those farmers are sick. If there's a law to stop people having sex with animals then surely it should also apply to farmers  I see I typo'd jot, I me...

Re: What is your cage?

There were a lot of them destroyed in a fire at the factory I think. A real shame, but I'd prefer a long nose D-Type.

There's currently someone trying to sell his Interceptor for £75k. That would be a new high for a non FF or convertible.

Re: Indian coast

I thought about Bullets, maybe getting a wreck and doing it up so I know how to fix them. There's a Enfield specialist not far north of me in Langholm. I want to travel independently.

Indian coast

Has anyone any experience/advice about riding in India? I know safety is a real issue, but I was wondering about maintenance, tyres, fuel that sort of thing when I'm far from a city. I'm going to take my full UK bike test in the next couple of months, and plan to go on a big long trip along the coas...

You're right about the 22ltr not 12. It was stated as 12 ltr on the bike ebay shop thing I got it from - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GIVI-T496-EASY-MOTORCYCLE-TUNNEL-BAG-12-litres-/330684078546?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item4cfe4e99d2#ht_4777wt_1317 I'm getting a bit more used to it now, but the...

Re: What is your cage?

The Jensen is now sold  The new owner is planning to take it to this years Le Mans classic in early July.

The Interceptor has a lot of presence and is very good looking but the most beautiful car ever built was the series 1 E-Type Jaguar. I would love one but they're stupid money.

Think I saw a white Integra the other day. It wasn't as pig ugly as I expected. I didn't get a great look at it as it was going in the opposite direction, but I wonder if it's just not that photogenic.

Today I leaned a little too far over to the right when going round a roundabout. I don't scrape my centre stand any more - It's been ground flat by the hitting the road too often. But today I got a loud hollow plastic scraping sound and the rear wheel slid away form below me. Got my attention I can ...

It was built down your way Woolley, in West Bromwich. I've just been offered £5,500 for it which I may have to accept  I've had this car for nearly half my life and I really don't want to sell. Hey! Why not sell that Golf and buy the Jensen? :) Classic car insurance is very cheap and your girlf...

Re: Tunnel bags

I got a T496 last week. It's 12litre capacity. You can't open the glove box on the scooter and you also have to unclip it from the bike if you want to open the seat. You can secure it in place (not very secure really) with the supplied strap threaded behind the seats hinge. If you want to stop it sl...

Apart from the great mpg there is also the benefit of covering up the pig ugly Innova.

Maybe a streamlined pcx could get 260mpg? Wouldn't be good in cross winds though.

Re: Had a deer run out in front of me!!!

A couple of weeks ago a bike went through my village at a disgusting speed, the guy didn't give a fuck about anybody or anything. He had to change down to (I'm guessing) 2nd to get round a corner near my house and then I heard him going up through the box at full throttle. About 10-15mins later a Po...

Hi and welcome. Can't help you with the availability of the 150cc as I'm in the UK and it won't be sold here. As for break in; I'd just follow what it says in the owners manual. Honda have a reputation for quality and reliability, it will not have been gained by giving bad advice for breaking in new...

Re: Hello everyone

Hi and welcome to the forum. I've got the Honda tall screen and top box on my pcx. The rear top panel behind the seat will have four holes drilled through it so the mounting plate bolts can screw into the grab rail beneath it. It's not as bad as it sounds because the holes are out of sight, unless ...
