Any history of problems with the Forza?[/ No, No and yes, lots of them. Re: Drive Belt Life (and death)

Given the ability of a Forza 300 to munch its way through brake pads in far less than 8,000 miles and the change in drive belt specifications, the 8,000 mile service interval which was a big selling point for me as a 12,000 mile a year rider has been completely negated. . Changing belts on the Forz...

Re: Question about buying a Forza

. And the higher speed trips are probably cooking my drive bely sooner than I would like. Pax et bonum, Michael MBMyer, Who cares if you have to replace the Drive belt even twice as often as recommended. They are cheap and not hard to replace... Even if you replace it twice as often, it is still le...

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???

The caliper was cleaned and greased. I still had the very bad sticking problem. I think my extreme rain riding and poor Honda design got rid of the grease. (CAT is right next to the rear brake, poor rear fenders feed dirt/water into the caliper, Forza is too heavy for a single front disk) I use bot...

Re: Front wheel spindle pinch bolt

Am resigned to keeping the Forza over the coming winter and exchanging it in the spring for something more entertaining to ride. I really liked the ergonomics of the Forza when I sat on it, much better than my SH150i for long rides, which is why I am going to get one. Much easier and less work / mo...

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???

Hi Dave, I saw the picture you posted of one pad worn out, and the other one almost like new... That means the caliper is not sliding on its mounts very well, so only one side of the pad us being used for breaking. Take the caliper off, clean it up really well where it slides on slider, and put a hi...

Re: Top speed?

Europe lives under "absolute control"...really?.( and the conclusion drawn from our bike speedos reading 5%/10% higher than reality!...) Hahaha, No I did not draw that conclusion just from bikes speedometers, but it is no surprise, stuff like not even being able to tell you your exact spe...

Re: Front wheel spindle pinch bolt

Just a warning to all Forza 300 riders, you may want to remove and copper grease your front wheel spindle pinch bolt. I need to get a new tyre on mine so had to get the wheel out. Unfortunately the head has just twisted off the bolt, I was not using excessive force and the head just twisted right o...

Yeah, I could absolutely buy that, given all the regulations and absolute control Europe lives under, I believe that manufacturers could be doing some like that intentionally in that market only.

Re: Top speed?

I don't mind them reading under a bit. There less chance of getting speeding tickets. There are loads of speed cameras in Edinburgh and the surrounding region. I like the speedometers to read EXACT speed, then I can just decide how much I want to exceed or not... If the speed is off 10 % , I just d...

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???

I have done about 300,000 km on 7 different bikes (CB 125, GPZ 305, BWS, Geely 150, KLX 250, DR650, Forza 300) and ridden many others for short distances. SORRY ABOUT THE ALL CAPS, JUST WANTED MY COMMENTS SEPARATE FROM YOURS. Hi Dave, That is awesome ! I hope I can match that record one day. I have...

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???

My Forza was one of the very first ones built I suspect. Vin ends in 000098. It was dropped in a parking lot and written off by the insurance over the plastics damages. I technically bought it as a "Wreck" from a back yard re-builder. I really like riding the Forza. I did 20,000 kilometer...

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???

As with all things it pays not to be an early adopter. Both my Thai Hondas were bought within months of their release..... I really like the CB500 but my head just won't let me buy one. ... Hi GN2, With version 1.0 of any product, you can expect problems. If you judge a countries production based o...

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???

My Forza has had plenty issues, I will never buy another Thai built Honda. But that's just one out of hundreds, most of them don't do 10000 miles a year in all weathers and live outside in a harsh environment. I have TWO Honda Motorcycles that were produced in Thailand, and they are amazing. The CB...

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???

I can't see it passing Euro4. I spill gas on the ground almost every time I put gas in the tank. The Canadian fuel pumps make it hard to get a full fuel fill and then it overflows. And mine drips oil from the crappy water pump. I am waiting for a recall as it is cheaper just to buy more oil than it...

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???

They have them locally new for 4299 with ABS, plus whatever fees you can talk out of at my dealer. I test rode the bike once, its the smoothest motor I have ever rode on any mc or scooter. The handling is average to me, at 422 lbs its about 50% heavier than a PCX. I would have bought it if it was l...

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???

I believe the Forza 300 will be discontinued, no new ones built after November-ish. Part of the Euro4 cull. Why do you think this ??? Is there any reason it would not pas Euro4 ??? The Honda Foza one of the latest designs, fuel injected, catalytic converter, same engine as the massively produced CB...

Re: Top speed?

I note that most motorcycle speedometers read as much as 10% high & I have found the odometers seem just about on. The question then is are your reported speeds REAL? . That is TOTALLY WRONG. This is a Honda forum, so I am talking about Honda's here, not cheap chinese bikes that will obviously ...

2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???

On Honda's website, I do not see anything about 2017 model Forza. Will they be selling it here in the US next year ??? If so, will it be exactly the same, or any updates ??? The Honda PCX had some nice changes for 2016, I am hoping they do the some upgrades for the Forza also.

Re: Value of a 2014 Forza according to local government

I needed a new VIN so that I could register my stolen Forza here in Florida, I never thought I would find one so easy ! Before anyone has a heart attack, if I really wanted to do this, I would not be posting it... I would have posted the notice, but probably blurred out the VIN number ;) Thanks MBMy...
