Re: Newbie with a fresh 2014 pcx
Welcome to the forums, Damien.
Don't be shy. Let us see more pics of your new ride. Lots of pics, we just love pics. You are propably the first confirmed buyer of the new 2014 PCX, so that's why a short review would be in place.

I only just now realized that the Walking Dead is shot around metro Atlanta area, not far away from Maddiedog's abode, Marietta. I wonder if Maddie knows the intersection and the gas station where the opening scene was filmed. It was shot somewhere near Cascade Palmetto highway. Ever pumped your get...

What's that? Did you mean SH 150? If that, I think it looks nice and reminiscent of the Wave.

Put it down to the weather. When colder, it's more thirsty. Warm gasoline and engine make more energy and there's less friction.

Re: New member...first question
Welcome to the forums. There are basically two schools of thought out there. One is -- ride it like you stole it from the start. The other is -- take it easy until the first service, then ride it like you stole it. I did it conventionally. For the first 500 km, I took it gently, slow acceleration an...

It would be interesting to know the source of these rumours. All evidence so far points to the contrary.

Re: US Version PCX: Lack of Idle Stop Feature
Idle stop mechanism makes sense in a city like Rome or Bangkok, where you have to wait at major intersections and the weather is hot. That said, I must tell you I hardly ever use it. My PCX rides take place here in the sticks and there's really no use for it. This place I call home has only one set ...

Honda uses it on many models now, even on the Wave. I think it's useful in that it could prevent vandalism (somebody sticking rubbish in the key hole so you can't start your own scooter).

Re: PCX luggage racks?
Thanks for the info on the rack. The seller's page shows how the rack works. I think Maddiedog once enquired about this in another thread. The rack seems to be hanging from underneath. This means that all the weight will fall on the bolts. This method also doesn't eliminate the drilling process. I t...

Congrats and welcome to the forums. Did you have the 110cc version (NHX 110, aka Elite in the US) or the Indian made SCV 100? The one in the photo used to be mine. I really loved it but it was slow. The underseat storage space was huge. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/62/Honda_...
