Re: Side fenders mounting question
Hello all. My new PCX 150 is a load of fun to ride. As I'm looking her over I realized that the side fenders along the rear area have a plastic tab sticking down that seems to need a rivet or bolt or press in fastener to attach the fender flair piece to this mating tab below that has a rubber compo...

Re: PCX Body Parts?
Panels seemed OEM to me. I had to replace a few of them from my spill off the PCX a few months back. Heck, the dealership where I got my used Silverwing a couple weeks back uses PowersportsPlus. But sadly, they don't provide any manuals, and they are prone to backlogging from Honda. When it comes t...

Re: How to replace panels on PCX 125
Thanks for that info, it is helpful. I have the service manual coming, should have it today. I have to replace basically the entire right side, front-side, lower, rear side. Just have to figure out how to do it. I'm thinkin' it shouldn't be too bad. The other plus to haveing the manual is being able...

Re: PCX Body Parts?
Oh, one other thing.
Were you able to reuse the hardware (SCREWS & CLIPS), or did you get new?

Re: PCX Body Parts?
Jason, do they all come off independently, no particular order, or do they come off in a certain order? I have to replace pretty much the whole right side, front-side, rocker, rear side. Wiped out in some gravel. I was considering mixing colors. I currently have red, but I'm considering mixing with ...

Re: PCX Body Parts?
I got my panels from here. Genuine Honda parts with low prices. http://www.powersportsplus.com/ Yes, Jason. That's where I've been looking. Talked to them yesterday. Did you have any issues with fit up? My main concern was if the connection points are correct and if the panels are truely OEM parts....

Re: Took a spill yesterday...
Glad you're OK and that you had minor damage to your PCX. One never stops learning, even if it has to be the hard way. One of the things I was advised to do when I started riding was to stay clear from manhole covers, even in the dry, and to be very wary of pedestrian crossings in the wet. Where I ...

Re: Took a spill yesterday...
C-Note, Good to read you're okay. How ya feeling now? As a kid train tracks just seemed to be everywhere I wanted to go on my bicycle. When we'd meet up I could almost hear them saying "I dare ya to cross me!" I learned really fast how to make it to the other side "upright" as I...

Re: Took a spill yesterday...
I think it was due to the angle of the bike on the track when I braked. I was slightly turning when it slid out.

Took a spill yesterday...
Well, I took a little spill yesterday, in a situation that I knew could be dangerous, but it happened very quickly and I could do nothing to stop it. I was headed down a hill in a rural area towards a unmarked "T" intersection. Just in front of the intersection is a pair a railroad tracks....

Re: first service cost
I paid $162 USD for my first service. I am thinking I will do it myself from this point forward. You can pick up a service manual for ~$50 USD.

Re: What would you change on the PCX
Something a bit bigger, between the 150 and the Silver Wing would be nice, say around 400cc. A bit more weight would be nice too for stability on highways and in windy conditions. Automatic valve adjustment would be a huge plus. And definitely a bigger fuel tank.

Re: Amerivespa 2012 | Lake Geneva, WI
That second video is very cool. I live only 60 miles south of Lake Geneva. We go there all the time. Had I known this was going on, I would have been there. Used to live in that area (Fontana, Lake Geneva, Williams Bay) when I was just out of high school. Great area to hang out!
