Re: Why no SH300i forum on here?

SH300 is awesome scoot. Handles like a motorbike, goes like one too straight out of the box.

Re: Fuel leak

Going back to exhaust, Takegawa makes nice pipes that deff do give better performance and almost stock exhaust noise. They're Mid priced too comparing to lot of others on webike.

Re: Fuel leak

I've got koso water meter installed, it's good having it especially on a modded motor. Stock motor comes with a single layer headgasket but Takegawa has triple layer. That's ok on a 125 head by once you fit 150 head the comp drops even more to 10.5 I think. I prefer to be in mid 11's to low 12's com...

Re: Fuel leak

Thanks Gil, I've been itching to get back in to the engine and do some more modding, so this gave me a perfect excuse to strip it down.. I want to split the triple layer headgasket and just use a single piece to raise the compression a bit. I've done it once before so I know it works and it's ...

Re: Fuel leak

I've ordered new pump and a o ring of partzilla last night. I'd hate to get that leak again if I'm far from home and can't get help out there. Should be fairly easy job to replace it (I hope!)

Re: Fuel leak

Could be the fuel vent line leading to the charcoal canister. I would check that first. I only have leaks when I overfill the tank, lol. Gil Hi Gil, leak is coming from the top of the fuel pump where it's inserted in to the fuel tank, around its base. Maybe a main seal is shafted or the bracket hol...

Re: 120/80-14 rear and what size front tires

:D I'm way past 13g roller and I'm sure I have vario options in stock to do what I need. I think perhaps going 140 and 120 may be too large considering loss of top end, perhaps slower acelaration too? I'd be inclined to try 120 rear and 100? at the front. Has anyone tried 120 rear? Mirrors are cool,...

Re: 120/80-14 rear and what size front tires

How have you performance been affected by those large tires? Lost any acelaration? Gain much top speed? It's my exhaust that contacts the ground first with these shit stock shockies around the twisties so that's my primary reason for extra height. I'm going to Thailand tomorrow for a holiday so I'll...

120/80-14 rear and what size front tires

Hey, let's revisit this topic. I'm in need to replace the tires again. I'll probably look at michelins. Has anyone that has upgraded to larger tires found any negative effects from upsizing? I'd like to gear mine up as my power to trans ratio is much too short now but I also want to gain some overal...

BPT7594 wrote:0.1 IN and 0.24 EX. That's actually for stock camshaft. No idea how it will work on that takegawa camshaft. If it makes too much noise try 0.05mm IN and 0.1mm EX.
Thats also takegawas specified valve clearance with their cam.

Re: Rollers or Sliders

Magic rpm number for cvt set up is 8000rpm. Best accelaration, unaffected top speed. On 125 that's 10g weights. What weight will do that on 150? Unless someone uses a tachometer we don't know if the weight is 12g or 13g...

Re: Rollers or Sliders

10g is best balance for highest acelaration and unpeded top speed runs on 125cc model.

Re: Rollers or Sliders

Hello, I'm new here and I would like you to tell me if someone has tried a few dr.pulley 13gr on the 125cc engine, really this weight is the one you have to have? I have seen a video on the internet where the bike on the easel takes 4km / h more. Forgive but I'm using google translate, I do not get...

Re: Dyno Run Pcx 169cc

They adjust fuel using dealer's scanner tool, Yamaha allows to adjust fueling +-15% as I know, so no any fuel piggyback ecu is needed. I asked one ebay bbk seller why you don't supply any fuel controller with the Yamaha big bore kit. He told me to use Yamaha diagnostic tool also. But, +15% is still...
