Re: Getting a bit more OOMPH from my 2013 PCX 150

If you have a tach. You shoot for full throttle acceleration to be right near 8000 rpm. I think mine is at 7950 rpm with the 13 gram weights. It sounds as if you were able to get past the rev limiter at 67 and up into the 70s so that is a good sign. A new belt helps too and a mid Givi windshield up ...

Re: help with selling my bike

I buy and sell a lot. I always do it on a cash basis for vehicles and have never had a problem in over forty years. I buy and sell a lot of expensive air guns (1500-2000 USD) via forums and telephone and you have to vet the seller well and then send cash - normally PayPal. Motorcycles, cars, and atv...

Re: NC750x DCT

My older long retired buddy fell in love with a CTX700 all manual. He already owns a Grom. I actually give it a test spin too and was shocked how smooth, nimble, and comfortable it was. It is a new 2014 red with the fairings and at a significant discount. He is hoping to pay about $4500 USD plus 200...

Re: need to sell off?

LOL - My wife may have one hidden somewhere. She goes to the boats gambling occasionally too with her relatives who beg her (no Rhode Scholars in that bunch across the river).

Re: need to sell off?

That varies by state. Some states give it mainly to the defunct public pension funds. Some states the education funds and scholarships. Many states now push it into the general fund and gosh knows where that ends up after that.

Re: need to sell off?

I understand but in this country entitlements and dependency are used by a corrupt party to maintain power more than ever before. It is as addictive as heroin and the politicians know it. The welfare abuses have reached monumental proportions (by some estimates approaching 30%) in nearly all categor...

Re: need to sell off?

Oh and state tax depending on your state. Maybe 6% or less in a good state.

I do need a $20M jet and a $30M house on a square mile to start. Also, a $5M helicopter. A better place than Travolta.

Re: need to sell off?

Actually to win anything (like the price of your ticket back) the odds are only 1 in 25. With say 100 tickets your odds are pretty good at winning 1 ticket for free.

Re: need to sell off?

The odds were 1 in 292M but will now be 1 in 500+ million. One has a much better chance of spontaneously combusting in the next few days.

Re: Getting a bit more OOMPH from my 2013 PCX 150

Here it is - I am also SECoda. A tach like you will see there comes in real handy. You don't need to completely remove any panels as you will see. I removed one bolt.

Re: Getting a bit more OOMPH from my 2013 PCX 150

The entire install took me about 30 minutes and is documented with pictures on here somewhere. No new gaskets are needed. A way to hold the plate was really the only small challenge.

Re: Getting a bit more OOMPH from my 2013 PCX 150

I have the NCY V/FP but 13 gr rollers. It does push the top speed up a lot relative to most other changes. I suspect if you use it to run faster most of the time your mileage will drop. It may also affect belt wear a bit.
