Like gn2, just a phone and an AAA (American Automobile Assoc.) card, but I add money for sitting in a bar while I wait for help.

It's ruined. I'll take it off your hands for a small disposal fee.

Re: "The Ol' Man's Day!"

Thanks--you, too! Woke up to cards and gifts--while still in bed. Brunch with wife and daughter. Son and his girlfriend joined us for dinner--shrimp and steaks on the grill. Key Lime pie for dessert. Yum. Got waited on all day and, other than having to clean a clogged AC condensate line, didn't have...

Happy "Ride to Work" Day!

Cleaned the PCX of dust accumulated from a couple months sitting in the garage. Whoops! Didn't reconnect the battery tender after the last ride. Will it still start? Hey, it's a Honda. Started right up, though a tiny bit rough at idle. Threw on the mesh jacket and an open-face helmet and off to work...

Try switching between a PCX and a Silver Wing. The horn/turn signal placement is reversed on the two. But, if that's my worst problem things are okay.

Re: Honda Protection Plan

I got fast-talked into a plan on the SW I bought last August. It's usually not a good value, though all it takes is one expensive repair to get some/all of your money back. Also know that keeping the warranty in effect requires strict adherence to the maintenance schedule. Also got an extended warra...

Re: Mileage of your PCX

Bash on, you only have 1250 on your bike after 3 years??! You may as well sell it. You obviously aren't riding get it. At 34.7 miles per month the tires will rot off of it before you get to your 600 mile service. Plenty of mileage in pontification tho... Ha. I try to make the most of whatever milea...

Got a picture of the stock seat? That's what I use--only customization is where it got a little tear from using the handlebar to keep it open.

Re: Took the dog on a spring ride

Would need a sidecar for mine--he's 125 pounds (pic at left), and doesn't lean well.

Grew up with Maltese. Great dogs. Wanted a bigger dog when out on my own, though--think I may have gone too far in that direction.

Paul, you need dog paw gloves to go with your helmet cover.
