Re: Cold Ride, and the Wife's New 2015 PCX150....

Nice pictures. A perfect selection in bikes. :P What is that around the fuel panel on your Forza?

Re: PCX to forza

I have both and love them for different purposes. The PCX 150 is my camping bike hauled on a bumper Rage steel carrier and short hops around the area. The Forza for scenic touring or extended rides including highways. I need them both. :P

Re: Honda Survey...

I like at least the Forza weight (423) for the interstate winds/gusts but yes - the CTX700 is no racer with the weight and engine performance. I think it gets better mileage than the SilverWing.

Re: Comparison

I said even today if I could find a great bargain on a 2013 still I would throw a $100 seat on it and buy it over the 2015 but that is just me. I test ride them both several times when I bought the 2013.

Looks like they are both there to me. See the 2015/3013 in upper left? Click on the 2013.

Re: Days are numbered for my PCX

I think I have stated the same several times. 55 mpg max and below for the PCX but I use it mainly for local hops and camping and the Forza for everything else. The Forza is happy and has the weight, size, and power for 65-75 mph.

Re: How cold will you ride?

You must have pretty good roads. :) 45 F here today but intermittent light rain and mist. It supposed to be 50 and clear again on Tuesday. We have been just below the snow/rain line on storms all winter long so far except last Thanksgiving when we had a 3" snow. That is unusual but I will take ...

It's terrible to sit on but it lifts up high enough (and has a strong hydraulic/spring) and has more room underneath. ;)

My Grom buddy is always mentioning the chain maintenance and the oiler he made for it out of Delrin. It does not sound like fun.

Re: Honda Survey...

We are dreaming with Steph. Good review and he made most of the changes I would want but the price climbs way up. I bet he has 15k in it. Seat, cases, cruise control, better foot rests, etc.. Then i woke up from the dream. :P

Re: Honda Survey...

I feel the same climbing on my Forza. My PCX becomes the little bike that could.

I say lets all order one together - a group buy. It will help sooth the initial pre-purchase pain. :P

516 lbs for the DCT ABS option. There are some accessories that might lift the price a bit.

Re: Just started scooting.

Swearing? Here we all conceal carry so folks know (or force themselves) to stay cool but there always idiots. I had a pirate on a Harley do it one time and he nearly wiped out on the shoulder loaded with gravel. All I could do was laugh.

Re: Just started scooting.

Oh they aren't allowed to pass on the shoulder here either legally.   Doesn't even slow them down sometimes. We are just worrying about surviving. :x Also, our provincial motor vehicle act states that no one is permitted to pass anyone from the right if there is not an actual lane th...

Re: Comparison

On the the PCX 150's figure about 68 mph 2013 vs 65 mph 2015 when the hit the rev limiter stock. Hardly a big deal - except to us  .

We have the NC700X DCT ABS. It sits up pretty high.

Re: New Japanese fwy capable vs. used Taiwanese fwy comforta

We keep our Kymco's on a diet over here. Actually the ABS must add more than I thought. http://www.kymcousa.com/showroom/scooters/downtown300i/specifications.html Don't get me wrong - I really like the Forza. Yes - that foot placement and leg room on the DT was a show-stopper for me. I am actu...
