Re: handguards

Yeah they're pricy. Is there anything like them for cheaper in the US?

handguards

I was thinking about getting heated grips and Barkbuster storm S1 handguards. Has anyone used these guards? Will they work ok?

Re: Headlight upgrade?

Mines does exactly this but not been a problem at all since most roads are lit by street lamps. Might just be user preference unless you ride on road in complete darkness? I'd imagine cars would have the same problem but not really an issue for most. In the USA the only lit roads are within the cit...

Re: Headlight upgrade?

To clarify, i'm not talking about the usual "can't see around the corner." The problem is when the bike leans over, the light actually projects much closer, in other words, standing upright the light projects about 50ft out, but when i lean the bike over it is only projected about 15ft out...

Re: Increasing fuel capacity.

I would pay some serious $$$ for a permanent solution to increase the fuel capacity by a gallon. Since my round trip distance to work is 55 miles, i have to stop for fuel every day.

Headlight upgrade?

I'm not sure if something is wrong with my headlights or if it's normal but, in either case, the stock headlights project a beam that has a horizontal rectangle shape so that when the bike leans into a turn the beam angles down at the ground on the inside of the turn as illustrated below. http://i10...

Re: PCX 125 exhaust for a PCX 150?

125esp and 150esp have diff header pipe to first gen 125 so they wont be compatible.

If everyone who reads this message holds their breath for 10 seconds we will have reduced CO2 emissions enough to cancel out the effects of all the PCXs sold without idle stop. LOL

Re: 125/150 parts compatibility and interchageability

I have the 150 service manual. Perhaps if somebody has a 125 service manual we could compare pictures to determine which are different.

Re: The most miles per tank

It would help to know if you have a 125 or 150. On my 150 i keep in mind that aggressive riding will get me no further than 115 miles and taking it easy will get me 140 miles comfortably. I have noticed that 35 mph is about the point were wind starts to pull down on mpg.

Re: 125/150 parts compatibility and interchageability

Some plastics are, some aren't. The physical mounting points are the difference.
If that's the case i think it would be a good idea to sort out which ones are or aren't.

On a side note, why can't i edit my OP?

125/150 parts compatibility and interchageability

When i first bought my PCX150 i had no idea how it was different than the 125 other than the engine and many distributors still don't list parts for the 150. With some help on the other forum i have organized a short list of parts according to whether or not they can be used on both the 125 and the ...

Are you in the USA? You might find this helpful: http://www.clubpcx.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=945 I will reiterate what i said on the other forum... If you get on the honda website and do a dealer search and just starting calling them one by one, you will find one that doesn't charge those e...
