Re: Forza has arrived.

"So long as you don't want to ride the wrong way (feet forward) it'll probably be fine." I realize this is equally as bad, but I have to say it, it is funny a "ricky rent a cop" constable feels he's the vioice of infinite knowledge and wisdom as what he thinks is the way things a...

Re: PCX top speed

I'm 5'10" and had the same issue until installing a taller windshield. I now hit the rev limiter at 68-69mph with ease and fuel mpg has increased. Best mod in my opinion.

Re: Forza has arrived.

Yes in the US it's only available in red. I need to clarify my earlier statement about preferring the Majesty's ergonomics over the Forza. I much prefer the leg room on the Majesty but the Forza is a more comfortable riding position, you almost feel like your "part of" the Forza compared t...

Re: Forza has arrived.

The "thing" half way out of its crate is a Can-Am Spyder RTS. I'm at work now and took pics of the dash, seat, and glove compartment(F'n huge). If anyone wants detailed pics of something else, let me know and I'll post them tonight.

Re: Forza has arrived.

Well 2 new Forza's hit the showroom floor today, I should have pics of it next to a PCX later tonight. Granted it hasn't been prepped yet so I haven't riden it, but I'll share my initial thoughts. Left side glove compartment is HUGE compared to the PCX, bigger opening and very deep, right side is a ...

Forza has arrived.

The 2014 Forza arrived today at the dealership I work for. Looks like a nice bike. It's a brighter red than the PCX. I'll post more once it's out of the crate.

Re: I rode Pcx 150

I hope you get a PCX150! I've been riding bikes my whole life, I've got a weird obsession about small bikes that'll suprise people, but don't have the knowledge or expertise to do what you've done to your 125. Boats r my area of "expertise", and as much as I love my stock PCX150, a mod PCX...

Re: Increasing mpg with each fill up?

When you fill up has no effect on your mpg, the important thing is filling up to the exact same level everytime for an accurate reading. I always fill mine up to the absolute top, to the point that if I tried to put another drop in it would overflow. Glad you're enjoying your PCX as much as I am.

Re: 10000 miles last year

The Michelin City Grip is such a better tire than stock. It's not an upgrade that needs to be done unless it's time for new tires, but if you like to ocassionally ride aggressively, it's much more confidence inspiring. I've scraped my centerstand quite a few times since replacing both front and rear...

Re: Increasing mpg with each fill up?

How hard you twist your right wrist is your answer to increased fuel consumption. I've stated my personal exerience in another topic but I'll say it again. My first few thousand miles I loved going WOT at stop lights, pulling away from common traffic at twice their acceleration rate. This type of ri...

Re: So... About that weight Limit...

You'll be absolutely fine with no worries of damaging your PCX. Almost all warnings are lawyer related, as preventative legal mumbo jumbo not to be liable. If you're an inexperienced rider, be careful because an "uncooperative" passenger on such a light bike can be dangerous.

Re: 10000 miles last year

Hey Wingman nice to hear you're putting miles on your PCX, and even in the snow!! I bought my 150 in September of 2012 and just turned 12,000 miles. I live in SW Florida so it's riding season year 'round and I commute to work every day on mine, one negative about living here is there are absolutely ...

Re: MPG after 1st 1000 miles

Mpg really depends on how fast you turn your right wrist. The first couple thousand miles I was wide open every take off just because I enjoyed suprizing normal traffic at how "quick" I could pull away from them, this riding style returned 85-93mpg. Once I was past the wot takeoffs, the la...

Re: Rear Axle nut - Torque spec?

I just picked up a nail (or something, clean puncture in center of rear tire) this past Friday. I know most people will disagree with this, but I plugged it until new tires get here. I have 11,689 miles on my front stock tire and 8,965 on rear City Grip, happy with the wear of both of these tires bu...

Re: Anyone have an accurate 55mph mpg?

If you're concerned about mpg, I would suggest a windshield. I've had my PCX for about 9 months and just turned 10,000 miles. I bought a Givi windshield at about 8,000 miles. I have about a 50 mile round trip to work at an average of about 55, (I tend to sleep late so it's wide open throttle if I hi...

Re: Expected Tire Life

At about 2,400 miles my rear tire developed a crack on the sidewall so I replaced it with a City Grip. I'm now just under 9,000 miles and the City Grip is wearing less than the stock tire when I replaced it. Front tire has a lot of life in it still. I would definitely recommend it over the OEM tire ...
