Re: Heated grips
Thank you for your help, does anyone know where I could purchase the wind deflectors, I've done a google search but again I'm not sure I'm looking at the correct sort for my scooter. The bike shop seemed to think that I cant purchase them for this scooter You can put aftermarket wind deflectors for...

Re: PCX 150 vs NVX/Aerox 155
The bigger tires, bigger engine and the ABS brakes of the Aerox would be a big plus. Yamaha quality is good, I can attest to that as Iv'e own two Yamaha bikes before. ABS Brakes would be THE deciding factor for me. ABS is as HUGE safety advantage, as important as a Helmet, riding gear, etc. I have ...

Re: New PCX owner
I did consider the Forza as I thought the PCX would be too small. I am now considering a Forza as a weekend, long distance summer toy and selling my cruiser. What has the PCX done to me!? :D Love it! Hi Hax, I am looking at getting a Honda FORZA 300 for exactly the same reason. I sat on the FORZA, ...

Re: Hearing Impaired & Scooters
There's some good info here. Thank you all. I'm a piano tuner here in Los Angeles and definitely notice the ringing in my ears when I get off my little Scarlet. I have good ear plugs in my tool bag for tuning extra LOUD pianos. Those plugs are going in my scooter and I'll be placing the cheap foam ...

Re: 1000 miles
The gauges are probably not as accurate as we would like. Pax et bonum, Michael I have 10 Honda Motorcycles, and the Speedometers and mileage gauges on them are VERY ACCURATE. They are all accurate within 1 MPH according to my GPS at 60 MPH, both the newer digital gauges and older analogue guage as...

Re: PCX 150 vs NVX/Aerox 155
There will be trade offs in most every decision regarding bikes. Quality is not an issue, so my opinion is to go by initial price, resale value, and overall comfort. Individual values vary from person to person however. Ease of parking = NOT IMPORTANT: Are you kidding ??? I can always find a way to...

Re: PCX 150 vs NVX/Aerox 155
The ride and handling of a scooter is EVERYTHING. If you enjoy a scooter, get the best one you can. I would much rather enjoy my scooter, even if it needed a little more room to park. REALLY, how often will you be able to park the Yamaha, but not squeeze in the PCX, and have to walk a little further...

Re: 1000 miles
just wondering how forza owners are getting "78" mpg..(us gallon) I ran mine dry with a liter under my seat and got 56 mpg... You guys must be riding wide open throttle all the time !!!! My Honda CB500X twin gets more MPG than you guys are getting with the FORZA. MAYBE ??? You guys are ru...

Re: 1000 miles
Sound advice, bit of an old thread to dig up...? My Forza now has 33,700 miles on it. I guess one would be bored with any scooter after that many miles. It is easy to loose perspective and complain more than one should after riding the same one every day. " Familiarity breeds contempt " i...

Re: New (soon to be) Owner
After a bit of a problem with my CBT course being cancelled, I managed to get another one sorted at a days notice. Having to change my insurance back to my old scooter, then back again for my PCX, at least the dealer refunded the admin costs. So I have my PCX, first impression - nice! Got her home,...

I saw a scooter that looked just like that one in the picture at WalMart... It was blue, made out of plastic, with a little battery and electric motor, but the wheels were the same sizegn2 wrote:It is the rather cute Kymco Like.JetPilot wrote:What the heck is that ???

Re: 1000 miles
Well that's me got a thousand miles on the Forza as of this morning. Averaging 78mpg so far. Saw a grey one out on the road yesterday. Major discovery... a bottle of wine fits in the lockable box in the fairing 8) No drinking wine from the bottle while riding, or you will never make it to 2000 mile...

Re: Forza top speed?
On the type of roads its intended for the Forza is very stable indeed, right up to its maximum speed. Its not a dirt bike ;) What ???????????????????????????????????????????????? I was going to get the Honda Forza to go out in the dirt, and fly over rocks and whoops at 80 MPH, do some steep hill cl...

Re: Forza top speed?
I was asking because right now im on a 2013 PCX 150 that tops out at 62mph max. I'm considering the Forza because I was something that can go at least 80mph for when i'm on the interstate here in St. Louis. I'll stick to the speed limit which is 55 to 60 but having something capable of going faster...

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???
I have an SH150i, and it is a great scooter for around town, BUT... I do not like the sitting position. The straight up riding position is great for 30 minutes around town, watching everywhere for traffic, but it is HORRIBLE for long rides on the highway. There is no way to move your feet forward wh...

Re: Heated grips
Hubby treated me to some Oxford heated grips and they are excellent so I can continue riding for a bit longer, I could do with some guidance on if I can use something to keep the wind off my hands - sorry don't know any technical terms - yes I am wearing gloves before you ask  We looked at han...

Re: First 100KM, My New PCX plus some local pics
Possibly the best mid-end scooter you will get in China. This bike is technically illegal in China, but still a lot of buyers. Smuggled from Mekong to border city then sold to around the country. One PCX owener said "illegal, but my passion makes it "legal" ". My guess is that t...

Re: Kymco DT 350i vs Forza 300
Kymco maxis are so good that Kawasaki staked their reputation on a Kymco built model as their entry into the maxi scooter market. That means exactly NOTHING. Kawasaki can specify better materials, better design, more money spent on building their scooter. Kymco's own designs can still be designed t...

Re: Kymco DT 350i vs Forza 300
The DT350 isn't imported to the UK yet. :( ALL Thai built Honda models have suffered manufacturing/design/quality control isues, I've had problems with both of mine and will never buy another. The knee room problem on the Forza 300 means that some people will simply not fit on a Forza, the PCX has ...

Re: Warm and Safe 90 watt heated jacket on PCX
so i've been using an aerostich 45w heated jacket on my PCX but it just didnt push enough heat. so i bought a Warm and Safe Gen 4 90 watt jacket for use on my big touring bike primarily. last night i tried it on the PCX with a voltmeter to make sure it wasnt stressing the system too much. based on ...
