Re: Near gear recommendations (jacket and pants) for city ri

I've been wearing a pair of Scorpion riding jeans and I find they aren't much warmer than regular jeans as long as I'm in motion. I also added a cooling vest this summer, but that won't work for everywhere.

Re: Near gear recommendations (jacket and pants) for city ri

Minimum amount of riding gear for me. It spoils the fun. Don't ride motorbikes for fun if you are a snowflake. If it's a poverty thing that is different. Full gear is the minimum for me, I find I'm more relaxed wearing it so I enjoy myself more. Yeah, it's hot sometimes - but I'm still happy to hav...

Re: Near gear recommendations (jacket and pants) for city ri

I'm also an ATGATT rider. I wear riding versions of gloves, jacket, pants, boots and helmet every time and I've recently started adding some hi-vis to the mix. My fiancee went down at about 20 and had quite a bit of road rash where she wasn't wearing riding gear (it was hot, so she skipped riding pa...

Colorado has lots of variety.. especially in roads. You can be on a county road that drops from 4 lanes to 2 to dirt in just a few miles. Thankfully the scenery makes up for having to go slow on dirt.

I usually forget to take pics

Re: YSS springs

I have those same G series on my US 2018. Only preload adjustment as I recall, but there was a night and day difference in the ride quality and I no longer bottom out on small road imperfections.

I have plans to pick one up. Looking at the originals is what led me to the PCX and back into riding.

Looks good to me.. I have the same chain. I may be stealing your locked spoke idea, I generally loop thru the wheel. Be aware that a thief with a cordless angle grinder can still get thru all that in about a minute.

NCY is the one I see most recommended (and also the one I have waiting to be installed). Just do a search and you should get everything you need.

Re: don't trust your "right of way" to save your day

Sounds like last night for me, and I was in my 4 wheeled Honda! Cali stops, stops halfway into the intersection... it was nice having 4200 pounds of Honda (and a nice horn) rather than my usual 300-550.

I agree with gn and you you.. up the oil weight and run it. I'd probably wait on a rebuild until your exhaust turns blue, although you can start researching rebuild kits.

He paid $60 I believe. We also had one done, I think they said $120 (1 hour), but they are rolling that into the repair cost for us.

Re: How to uninstall seat on 2018 PCX

'Emmet' and I had a similar conversation when I ordered my shocks from them a few months ago, so he should have known there was a difference (assuming it isn't just a persona). It took forever to get them to tell me which shocks I needed after they told me the ones I ordered probably weren't right, ...

US 2018 and Thai 2018 are different... the US is getting the Thai 2018 model as a 2019. I don't know if the seats interchange.
