Think u have come off well. I moved house in January. Insurance wanted £200 quid for car insurance and £400 quid extra for the pcx after already paying the 400 quid premium! Must have lived in a very favourable post code previously!

Interesting read, in theory with the temps being under 10 degrees over winter you would think it would store better.
I'm going to start using it for work now but my commutes half what it used to be so I won't have to refill every other day now.

No that was the problem I think, I just filled the tank to avoid rust problems. Will it clog anything up running this tank through or does the fuel just get less volatile so it doesnt burn well?

started mine up today after its been sat in my conservatory for the last two months with the rubbish weather. Bikes been on maintenance charge via a CTEK charger but was very reluctant to start, had to really hold the starter on and give it a dab on the throttle. very rough idle for about ten minute...

In the manual it says the whole gauge should flash if there is a malfunction

7500 mile update:
had its 7.5k service this morning, all running well and had a new Michelin city grip new Tyre fitted.
also picked up a can of acf50 so will be applying that when it next gets washed

Ctek quick release coupling attaches to the battery and squashes in so you can put the battery cover back on so all you do is open battery door and connect

i need to do a test run of how long the batteries last, I would think an LED light source would be more eye catching than this halogen.

It is a smart bicycle light ;) I originally bought it from ebay without the battery and never got round to using it, its currently using 4 aa size batteries in a battery holder mounted in the glove box, i just ran the wire down through the hole where the brake lines go down. its 6v so would need to ...

mine does 135 miles to near as dam it 5l of fuel, max range for me has been 146.8 miles using 5.4l of fuel.

5000 mile update: Bikes been for its 5k service today. All is well and its had a new spark plug fitted might just get away with the rear tyre till the next service but will have to keep an eye on it. Bike returns very consistant 125mpg. Bought a neck tube and it made so much difference on the way ho...
