Name origin: Ojibwe word misi-ziibi, meaning "Great River", or gichi-ziibi, meaning "Big River"
The word Mississippi itself comes from Messipi, the French rendering of the Anishinaabe (Ojibwe or Algonquin) name for the river, Misi-ziibi (Great River).

Re: Is there any downside to using the red kill switch to sh
During a temporary stop while you stay on the bike (phone call, map reading, etc.) use the kill switch. It stops the engine - but leaves the lights and indicators on for safety. Note: This is my practice on my other bikes - my Thailand PCX has the idle stop, not a kill switch, so I just put the side...

Re: helmet under seat
"I have yet to see a large full faced helmet going in without some trouble. My medium flip-up is not even close." Modular flip up helmets are usually only made in one size shell because of the hardware involved. Different sizes use different padding inside. My wife and I use HJC flip-ups. ...

Found some smaller fish eye mirrors on Amazon - 1 1/8" - http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4554
They fit closer into the outside corner, and leave more of the mirror clear.

Re: New Owner of a 2015 PCX 150 White
Amazon also shows this note about the mirrors: NOTE : Because of the small dimensions of the mirror glass, this product must only be fitted for racing or show purposes. This happens to be a valid comment by Amazon because of the size requirements for mirrors in the USA. For example - in Pennsylvania...

Actually, I am looking for better "sideward vision". That is what you get with fish-eyes.
But enough about me Mike, what mirrors have you found?

Re: Accessories in Thailand - mirrors
Mike - this thread is about some small cheap stick-on mirrors, nothing more.
I know where the accessory shops are in Chiang Mai, and could not find any this small except on Amazon.
I was looking for something inexpensive to see if I liked using them - not replacement mirrors.

Re: Accessories in Thailand - mirrors
Hi Mike
Saw those at the dealer when I got the windshield, but didn't want to go chrome.
What I got was cheap enough thru Amazon, and I can always remove them if I change my mind.

I can see that you don't think much of the PCX stock mirrors. But your rant really has nothing to do with the stick-on fisheye mirrors that I put on my stock mirrors
