Re: Centrestand woes.... sound familiar...?

Mine has just a crack across it tho hasnt 'opened up' like maddiedog's but i'm sure if i continued using it i would be in trouble. I never abused it really so would expect something that is going to be used as often as the stand would hold up better than this. I have been using the side stand today ...

Re: Centrestand woes.... sound familiar...?

Reminds me of when i took mine in for a new front tyre, i went to pick it up and found the fattest lump of a mechanic sitting on my scoot having a coffee using the center stand!

Re: Centrestand woes.... sound familiar...?

Would a lack of lube cause it to crack like that?!? Looks more like a casting problem, maybe hot metal being splashed with cold water when you go through puddles etc... Never really looked under there before but the metal does look a little thin for the weight and usage its getting. Might start usin...

anyone know about smd led strips...?

I put some led's on the front of my scoot to improve my visibility but ive found they are far brighter than i expected and producing heat, very warm to the touch after 20mins ride time. I have some smaller smd's on the rear but they stay cold? Wondering if heat being generated is normal for the larg...

Re: How is the scooter "culture" in your area?

Geneva is the place to be, scooters everywhere and crazy weaving in and out of traffic is standard. The car drivers seem to have accepted all the scooters/bikes and never seem to get angry at being cut up etc. I attempted some local dodgy filtering and promptly got my topbox clipped buy a tram from ...

Re: Reasons not to buy a Forza...

Shame they moved away from the pcx headlamp cluster as its just about perfect in looks/functionality wise. Dont know if you have ever 'over stroked' a cat's head so its face is stretched out a bit, well thats how the headlight looks to me...? Weird description i know but its the first thing that com...

Re: The Extended Warranty Question

Servicing is so expensive i will never have a new scooter again, plus fixing up/servicing and learning about your vehicle is actually fun. For my next bike i'll get something thats just out of warranty so its cheap and let someone else pay out all the servicing costs. Seen a few very cheap S-Wings o...

Re: Anyone got a Caberg Duke Helmet? Does it fit?

i have a small Duke and it fits under the seat with a bit of pressure on it. Not sure if the small has the same size shell as the medium or large but i can tell you its a huge helmet shell for a small so i think its the same shell for all with more/less padding depending on size! Personally the best...

What weight rollers are you using? I got some 20x15 14.75g from the depths of eBay...hopefully they will work. Worst part of servicing your own vehicles is finding you dont have the right tool you need, then its the 'do i pay double price at a local shop now or wait for cheap online tool to be deliv...

Re: Europe trip video

I like the reflective stickers on your bike, you molded them to fit the contours of the front fairing and I was thinking about ways to stick some reflective stickers to mine but without making it look like a Police bike. So far I put some nice decals from http://www.reflectivedecals.com/ on mine an...

Re: Europe trip video

Finally got round to making a video of my trip round Europe last year. The pcx is very capable of long trips and i had the adventure of my life, apart from France...France was mostly shit. http://youtu.be/NY-ehcVWjNE This July i'm looking into doing the south coast from Brighton to Land's End, then...
