Re: Kymco DT 350i vs Forza 300

Kymco VS Honda ??????????? SERIOUSLY ????????? There is no comparison... Your knee observation is flawed, if you hit something, it wont matter if you have 5 MM distance, or 5 inches. Also, the plastic is not like having metal there, the plastic will give in any impact. The possibilities of injury on...

Re: rideing the pcx in the rain?

We each have our own methods of coping with high winds, which works for one may not work for another. We see the same thing in flying airplanes, we teach very rigid adherence to procedures, rules, etc, but different pilots use different TECHNIQUE. Trying to force the same technique on everyone neve...

Re: rideing the pcx in the rain?

CROSSWINDS The PCX is not bad in corsswinds... If you want something that really requires skill in crosswinds, try the tall Honda SH150i, or even worse a Super Tall Dual Sport, XR650L or CRF250L. The PCX will feel like it is on rails compared to dual sport bikes. The solution is EASY, you need to b...

3. Do you gents have the engine or motor oil warning sign show up when you ride for the first few miles? I got this warning then disappeared after a few miles. Thank you for your advises. If you run your scooter without oil, it will DESTROY the engine in much less than 1 mile !!!! A no oil pressure...

Re: rideing the pcx in the rain?

I mean does it slip and slide all over the road? Hi Eggman, If you have to ask this question, then you do not have the knowledge or skills needed to ride in the rain. This can be learned, but get some more experience first. You are very likely to hurt yourself on wet roads if you are a new rider. S...

Re: Christmas card from Fish

What the heck is that ??? It is the rather cute Kymco Like. Personally, I would not waste my time with that thing... If I wanted to ride something smaller and lighter than the Forza, the Honda PCX150 would be better in every way. The Honda PCX would even look better on a christmas card. Mike

Re: what is the coldest weather u rode ya pcx in?

I have an Honda SH150i, not a PCX, but that being said, the coldest I have ever ridden it is 80 Degrees Fahrenheit or 27 Degrees Celsius. If I ride it much this winter, I might take it out in temperatures as low as 75 Degrees, but that is my limit. I do not go out of my way to ride on the ONE cold d...

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???

I went to the dealer over the weekend and still no new FORZA :( The manager told me if the 2017 Forza is not released by now, it is probably either getting major improvements, or getting the Axe. He also mentioned that they do not sell very many of them....

Re: Christmas card from Fish

Thanks for a good year of scootering with you folks. Fish http://i67.tinypic.com/2hdsj9c.jpg What the heck is that ??? My first tricycle when I was 2 years old had bigger wheels than that.... Nice picture, but would have much rather seen the Forza on there. Or at least a PCX if you wanted to put a ...

Re: New Member

Hello! ATPCOP here from Atlanta Georgia. I'm new to your boards but, not new to riding a scooter. I have previously owned a 2011 Ruckus and, 2013 PCX150. I have since sold the Ruckus and have recently traded the 2013 PCX in for a 2017 PCX. Getting rid of the ruckus and getting the PCX was a really ...

Re: MICHELIN City Grip Tires

It seems people have issues with IRC tyres in warm dry conditions and many people have had no problems in wet and very cold conditions over many years riding - it varies. People come off at low speed in warm climates and yet several people have posted here (4 or 5 come to mind at least including me...

Re: MICHELIN City Grip Tires

I'm looking at purchasing a new PCX150 in the next few months, and would like the dealer to swap out the OEM tires for the Michelin City Grips right at the get-go. Going through this forum, I got the impression that the front tire is different in size than the rear? Could someone explain to me why ...

Re: Winter riding - there are limits . . .

I never ride if it is colder than 75 degrees outside.... I know it can be done, but why pick the ONE COLD DAY when every day is perfect ????

Today was 82 and sunny, tomorrow will be the same, I might go for a ride :D

Re: Motovlog - Lancaster PA to Wilmington DE on my Honda PCX

When I awoke, the rain of the day before was still wet on the ground, but the sun was shining, the skies were clear and it was over 40 degrees. Hi Honkerman, Awesome video !!! Thanks for sharing. I just do not know how you rode in such brutally low temperatures. I never get on a scooter or motorcyc...

Re: i think cars are cheaper to use

Trying to sell me an extended warranty is a red flag. So to answer my question in regards to UN-scheduled repairs and maintenance, would you say that you are very satisfied with your PCX in this area, somewhat satisfied, or really starting to question the overall reliability of your PCX? That is one of the reasons why I am getting a Forza instead of a PCX... And we do not even have hills in Miami !!!!

PS 180 Pounds is a pretty average rider weight for the USA.

Re: PCX vs NMax Video

PCX NO ABS, why HONDA not build one in? must be a reason to it... I don't think it's the cost, but can't think of one otherwise... That is an EASY question. Honda is being cheap, it absolutely is the cost. ABS could easily be built into the Honda PCX. Many other scooters of this size have ABS, even...

Re: days without incident....

It's either the PCX is too fast or our brakes (CBS) are faulty. This is one of the DUMBEST comments I have ever seen posted... Given that this guy has crashed 5 times, he is just a bad rider with no skill, or reckless and rides to fast... Some people are so afraid to say something that someone else...

Re: Collision insurance

Do you PCX guys with a older PCX even carry collision. Collision pays when you damage your own ride, not some idiot who hit you. I am thinking of dropping it with my 500 deductible cause its pretty hard to do damage with a bike with only 11.5 HP :geek: . I don't ride when is raining unless I get ca...
