Re: Recent update on my PCX

Its not really designed for long range comfort and the stock shocks and seat aren't great. Fine for short urban commuting though.

Re: Cheap seat mod (free) :)

The other option I saw someone else do is take the vinyl off the seat hump and remove some foam then restaple the vinyl, but your way is simpler!

Re: Lips sealed

Don't think it was down for long. I had one failed login. I like checking in my lunch break at work as well as checking the weather site to see what my commute home may be like as its rainy and windy month here.

Re: My Gear last Saturday.....

I'm with skuuter on the 3/4 helmet. I love mine in summer especially riding with the visor up and sunglasses on. I'm much more aware of peripeheral vision and sound than any full face. But we are in our coldest wettest month here right now so its full face and rainex for me. Oh and its windy too.

That there gravel is to slow down the tourists so mountain folk can do what they will to those tourists! Or is that just in the Appalachians?

Re: Shorter handlebars or ??

Its quick retilting the handlebars just make sure you use quality Allen keys (those hex bolts are factory torqued very tight). Mine are tilted as far fwd as possible but you could tilt them back. You will prob want to adjust the 2 brake assemblies position as well.

Are you sure you are not turning the whole bolt as well? Can you get access to the bolts head?

Re: Honda NSS300 Forza

Be great if someone can snap a pic of it next to a PCX! The seat bothers me and wonder if that whole backrest can be adjusted back or can be removed for us tall riders.

Re: Honda Pcx 125 from cornwall :D

We can learn on up to 650cc in our state so long as not overpowered. In the UK I don't think they sell the 150 because of their 125 restriction. Not many folk would trade up from a 125 to 150 they would go bigger.

Re: Am I Missing Screws?

That fitting holds the nice faired indicator housing for non USA models. Its a redundant fitting for USA model as you have the indicators on stalks instead. I did answer this somewhere before and added a pic of my non USA versions indicator housing.

Re: You're a biker? Questions, questions

A BMW biker at work was parking his bike at home when the neighbours cat darted under his bike causing him to topple over. Result 1000cc on his ankle = broken ankle! And damaged pride!

I got numb bum and cramped right wrist doing 200 miles in a day. So amazing effort. I would need cruise control and a luxury padded seat to do that.;)

canadian and british gallons are bigger than US gallons hence mpg differences.
