Re: Another hump question
Thanks ScooterMan. That's perfect because if I slotted it that would be where it would end up as well. Do you have a picture of the top of the seat as well.

Re: Tire Size?
I do like the look of a wider tire on the PCX. How does it handle in turns?

Re: Another hump question
Thanks Mel. I have seen people on the Burgman's and the Silver Wing forums do something similar to their butt stops. I did think about that but when I looked at the back of the hump I wasn't sure what to do. Right now I have the hump off and the holes covered with black duck tape that I cut in a cir...

Re: Another hump question
I'm short 5'5" but I like a lot of leg room. My husband is 6'3" and we like the seat in the car at the same place which is all the way back. I never carry passengers so that won't be a problem with me. I would be interested in the pics when you have a chance. Thanks.

Another hump question
After my 170 mile trip this weekend I found that the hump did start to become a pain in my tuckus. So today I decided to preform a humpectomy. I took it out for a ride and I found that I actually miss that hump. I felt like when I took off fast I would slide back where before the hump prevent that f...

Re: Vespa Sprint Arrives in U.S.
Me personally, I'm not a fan of the Vespas or Vespa knock offs. Then the price is another factor. I like the looks of the PCX and Forza. They look sportier and not stuck in the past.

Re: Burgman 200
No WhiteNoise, I wasn't temped to sit on it. It's only a 50cc difference and i was, what's the point. It looked very short but had it come out last year I think I would have had a hard time choosing between the PCX and the Burgman 200. Although it has all the features that I like that is coming out ...

Those are the ones I have as well. They work great. I thought I ordered them from Amazon but I must have ordered them from Ebay.

My MSF course instructor also said to ride with your brights on during the day. I think I would go by their recommendations. I sometimes ride with them on during the day but usually I don't.

Re: Burgman 200
Too bad Mel you aren't up my way. They have one in the showroom at the Suzuki dealership. This is the dealership's website with pics of the Burgman 200 http://www.suzukiofcarolstream.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?veh=384450&pov=3719020 Scooters around here don't sell well. I'm looking at the Burgman...

Re: What does it take to total?
So how much did they say that it will coast to fix the scooter? Was the frame bent? Like I said, my parts only cost $250 and $461 in labor. It you are handy you can fix the scooter yourself and pocket the labor fee yourself.

Re: My Husband and I both got the PCX 150
I have to agree that in the year that I've had my scooter I've only seen 3 PCXs in the area and a few other scooters, but that's all. We have a running joke in my family that when we see a scooter we call it out. I ride with my husband too but he has a motorcycle. He likes the PCX and is thinking of...

Re: Video Review of the 2015 PCX
It's between the Burgman 400 and the Silver wing. It depends on which one is available when I get the money for the new ones.

Re: Average fuel consumption
Mine is stock as well, although I have added some non performance parts. Driving around town, I'm only getting 85 mpg. I'm 5'5" and 300lbs so I also believe that plays into my mpgs. Today hubby and I drove 170 miles round trip to Lake Geneva in Wisconsin. A good part of the way was at 55mph. I ...

Re: Video Review of the 2015 PCX
I agree whitenoise. I sat on the Forza and I had the same issue plus when I put my legs up I didn't have any leg room. It was even worse for my husband when he sat on it his knees were almost touching the handle bars. He drives my scooter on occasion, so he has to be able to drive it as well. Where ...

Re: What does it take to total?
Sounds like you are hitting a rough patch no matter what vehicle you have. I'm glad that my full coverage insurance on the scooter is $144 a year with a $100 deductible, although it only covers up to $1000 medical. A $1000 didn't even cover my emergency bill. My ambulance ride alone was $515. My ins...

I'm getting about 85 mpg. I am a bit heavy on the throttle trying to keep up with my husbands 1700cc motorcycle.

Re: How long you been riding?
I've had my scooter for almost a year but with injuries and a long winter. I've only been riding about 5 months. I did take the BRC from the MSF and learned a lot. During my down time for my first injury I took the written part of the test to receive my rider's permit. Next week I plan to take the I...

Re: What does it take to total?
Thank goodness you're okay. Don't worry about the scooter. Take care of yourself. You are lucky, it could have been worse. With my accident it was $250 in parts and another $461 in labor. The most expensive part is going to be that turn signal. That alone is $79. They replaced almost everything on t...
