Excellent idea.

I've heard some bikers carry a 4" long piece of PVC pipe to use the same way. Wouldn't look as pretty, but is cheaper.

Yeah! And most of them cost well under $1K!

As nice as they look, I don't think I'll be able to squeeze it in the budget just yet...

With time and experience gn2 could learn to be civil, but he'd have to see some value in it first.

I'm not being harsh either.

Riding on a log

I wish the seat didn’t feel like I’m straddling a log. Really I’m not fat (5’10”, 160 lbs.) but my butt is getting old (53 this Feb). My complaint is that the seat is too narrow. I wish I could widen the seat to better cradle the cheeks. The infamous hump doesn’t bother me. Sometimes I even push aga...

Re: Seat uncovered

I plan to take it to companies that do plastic welding to try to get the front lowered to lower the seat-to-ground height. Looks like it wouldn’t be too difficult to lower the front of the seat, but the area my butt occupies is level with the sides of the frame of the storage bucket; the lip where ...

Re: My winter ride

Sometimes temperatures would drop to 20 degrees Celsius below zero, and she would still start. Ride-wise, it's paradoxical that the colder it gets, the better the grip on the road. Stunning story there! I can’t imagine riding in that weather. o_O An advantage of a Ruckus over a PCX in that weather ...

Re: A green picture of George Washington

I missed out on George. No survey here  Are the survey's for the 150 only? I wonder. Yeah, don't cha just love when their questions are so formulated? So rigged? Did they at least give a "comments" box where you could go "hog wild" in truth? At the beginning of the survey, ...

A green picture of George Washington

Honda sent me a WHOLE DOLLAR :o yesterday to thank me in advance for taking a little survey. Their survey asked how I like my scooter.

Did y’all get a survey with a dollar in it?

Re: Trouble filling up PCX

This type nozzle is mostly used in large urban areas for pollution control. The outer black housing is supposed to suck gasoline fumes back into the pump rather than let them escape into the air. There are lingering questions whether they have any value, and rumors suggest they will be phased out. W...

Re: Trouble filling up PCX

If the pump has the black accordion piping on the spout, you will have difficulties. The black part of the nozzle has to be compressed before the pump will work. The neck on your gas tank is too short to compress it sufficiently. Either you need to pull back the accordion with one hand, and pull the...

Disadvantage we have is that you have to hit the starter button before you hit the gas. The rest of the world just hits the gas when the light turns green.

Re: Versions

I'm curious if any of the US riders have attempted to just use the kill switch and tapping the start button as a manual "idle stop" to any decent mileage impact? The headlights goes out if you hit the kill switch. I lower the sidestand very briefly, which will also kill the engine, but le...
