Re: New Forza
And today a little 32 miler down the lake and back. Strong, gusty crosswinds today gave me some trouble. Not as bad as I remember on the Vespa, but that sits so much higher, but still not great. Just a little added exercise... yeah, that's it!

Re: New Forza
Yesterday's little ride. Only 40 miles, but I'm still getting back into it.

Re: New Forza
Wow. My dealer went over it in minute detail on delivery. Even though I didn't need so much detail, it was really quite nice.

Re: New Forza
Not nearly as much riding time yet as I would like... Is there ever? But initially, I would still like to see a flat floorboard for a bit more comfort, but I'm starting to get used to it. But the biggie so far is that the bars are in the absolutely perfect postion for me. Even better than the Vespa....

Re: New Forza
So I'm calling stage one complete. It was the windshield and top case. Now we can start on stage two :D It rode like a champ yesterday even in the wind. A little bit of getting pushed around, but I think most of that is just not being as familiar with the bike yet as I was with the Vespa. That will ...

Do you have a part number for the Honda terminal connectors? This is exactly the way I want to do mine.

Re: How cold will you ride?
Depends on whether there's snow, ice, salt, or sand on the roads... Today was a ride up the lake, 35f-ish, 20mph wind off the 41f lake. Cold, but not a bad day for a ride.
Coldest point was here. Nothing to stop the wind for a couple hundred miles. Yes, I realize it's not a PCX

Re: New Forza
Today's ride. Officially, 42 degrees when I left, 45 when I got home. By the lake? Probably in the 30's. 59 miles... Not bad for getting used to a new bike and not having done much riding in two years. Fuel mileage working it's way up into the 60's... not terrible. Bike felt great, and I'm starting ...

I am going to miss the upright touring position. It's one thing the Forza just doesn't do.

Re: New Forza
Rode to the bank with the new windshield. Undecided. It's both too tall, and not tall enough. The top is right on level with my eyes. Otherwise it works beautifully. I could take it back and get the Honda one which is less than an inch shorter, or the airflow version which is adjustable but fugly, o...

Re: New Forza
It was MaddieDog's post here: http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=19 It's for the PCX, but it worked for me on the Forza. Remember, there is one more screw under the panel below the headlights. And as I was working last night in the garage, I warmed the panels with a couple of quartz wor...

Re: New Forza
WOW! I ordered a top case and rack yesterday (4/21), and just got a Fedex notice that I have a delivery due tomorrow (4/23). It's the only thing I've ordered in over a week so that must be it. Now that's fast service!
